Favorite Species of Pony and Why?

I'd have to say pegasus. How could anyone resist having the ability to go anywhere they wanted whenever they wanted to? Not to mention the fun of making faces at airline pilots!

I would most definitely be a Pegasus. Something about flying with my own pair of wings just thrills me. I would be a unicorn if I could be very powerful though. Then, I could learn a ton and become an alicorn lol

To me, unicorn is the best. As they can use magic to conjure wings, this removes the point of being a pegasus. Also having magic abilaties would be epic.

I would have to say unicorn because I am very obsessed with Harry Potter, so I love magic. I also have to say Earth pony because I do love the outdoors, and gardening. But, I like magic better XD.

Anyway I think I have answered this before as pegasus, but thinking back unicorn would be my first choice. There are so many things I could do with magic, also I would find it hard to play music with out fingers so I guess telekinesis it the next best thing?

hmm, probably earth. earth has this appeal in that the earth ponies aren't dependent on horns and wings to get by. everything they do is by pure merit, like N8C8 said. they are the underdog pony race of equestria, and i always have this thing for the underdog. wings and horns are like cheats codes, and in contrast, earth ponies live life on hard mode. they have to work extra hard to get where the unicorns and pegasi are. it makes me respect them alot.

 As much as flying is a temptation for me, I'd prefer to be a unicorn. Flying is cool and all, but teleportation and levitation has a higher value in my books :3. Wouldn't be that hard to multitask with the help of magic, especially if you're doing things like lab work or, have to reach something that is all the way over...there. Plus, I'd love just to study magic itself, sort of like how Twilight does, knowledge is always fun to research and develop .

I'm not sure which one fits me the most, but if I could choose, I would prefer to be a Unicorn. I'm not bothered about being some extremely powerful unicorn with thousands of different spells, as long as I have a few spells that are unique to me, that's good enough.

A tough topic for me. My deep love for my OC's sister Rarity has great weight. But, in the end I must say Earth Pony.

I'm usually free-spirited rather than letting myself be shackled down, and I love the sky.

 

I've also always fantasized about being able to fly, not for superpowers, but just to feel the breeze on my face. Its the reason Sketchi is a Pegasus, because she's my ponysona and is supposed to represent me.

True, true. I like them all, but I'd most likely be a unicorn. Whenever I imagine myself as a pony, (which i do very often) I'm a unicorn. The cool powers and all.

I would like to be a unicorn because of the magical benefits... but like many others, I would prefer to be soaring the skies instead of always being stuck on the ground, so definitely a pegasus. Besides, I'm pretty sure there are some of us who have watched Rainbow Dash flying, wishing that they could fly like that too. I'd also like to be able to lay in the clouds where I can just chillax on my own, feeling like I have to the whole sky to myself. I guess it's my head that's always in the clouds... I'd like to think I'm a pegasus at heart? </cheesiness>

SHOO BE DOO! SHOO SHOO BE DOO! I would be a pegasus. I don't know exactly why, I just see myself having a bigger connection to the weather rather than having the magic that unicorns have or being strong and connected to plants like earth ponies are. Also, flying would be awesome!

Earth ponies 100% for me. I am terrified of heights and I'm sure in a world like Equestria, there's other ways for me to fly. As for magic, well the ability to cast powerful and useful spells is a great selling point but no offense to the unicorns, but I just don't like the idea of having a horn sticking outta my head, well unless I had 2 like Iron Will, that'd be a different story. I'd get a headache just focusing all my power into my horn on my head.

 

There's something to Earth Ponies being the laboring and strong types. They still have abilities like natural strength, speed and arguably more durable bodies than unicorns and pegasi, with the similar ability of Equestrian equines of intellect, speech and wielding objects. Plus I have more of a connection to nature and the earth than magic and the sky.
