Misunderstanding: You hand feed pony a carrot.. but

Youa (a human) hand feed a sapient MLP FIM pony a carrot because you thought it would look real cute to feed one a carrot.

 

But... but... but all of a sudden the pony hugs you tightly and says "Oh, of course I'll be your marefriend!"

 

What would you do? Tell her you were just being friendly. You did not understand hand feeding a pony a carrot was romantic like offering a human woman flowers. Push her off you?

 

What would be the best way to deal with this misunderstanding?
