How much does your avatar influence your personality?

My avatar is more a reflection of my real self rather than the other way around. Sure, I would like to look like my avatar, but the personality is already built-in, being a figment of my own imagination and product of my own creativity anyway.

What’s interesting is now that I think on it the characters I end up choosing for icons are typically very confident, no cares given, say what they want/how they feel sort of characters. 

I guess it’s because I’m not that way but I wish I could be.

I have always found that I tend to act differently depending on what my profile picture is, often trying to act similar to the character within my profile picture. I do it far less nowadays but I do still often change how I speak cause of my profile picture. I think I need to start changing my profile picture depending on the type of conversation I'm going to have ahaha

I've had this avatar for about 4 years, maybe even longer. I feel like it would be weird to change it now. Normally however, I change my avatar fairly often on other sites, just to show something that I think is cool or funny. But my avatar does not dictate how I post, I speak the same way on every other site.

My avatars are generally cute anime girls. The one I use on this forum currently looks unapproachable, but Morag is a tough classy lady, with just a touch of resting bitch face. It doesn’t affect how I act though.

My avatar doesn't influence my personality too much. But partially it does. Sometimes I wish to roleplay a bit spontaneously and my avatar that moment becomes my role ^•^
