I'm definitely not a skater. The first time I tried, I fell and twisted my ankle...

 

But I've seen some pretty cool skaters out there. We used to have a bunch of them at our church. They'd show up and skate in the parking lot. One of them even lent me a board once, and... well, I fell and twisted my ankle again. Huh...

Man I have been skating almost my entire life. I still suck compared to a lot of people, the best trick I could ever pull off was an inward heel, and I recently did my first and thus far only impossible. I need to get a new tech board, right now I'm working with two boards:

 

Jason Jesse Santa Cruz signature deck with 1/8" shock pads, 1/2" angled risers, 9" gullwing sidewinders, 69a 72mm wheels, and Indy abec 7 bearings

 

Dregs rasta lion pintail (literally only 4 can be purchased now) with 84a abec 11 centerset freerides, random 10" trucks, and 1/8th" shock pads.

 

First board is a monster at carving and I dance and bomb hills on the second one. The dregs is also one of the best boards I've ridden on, and it's a pain to kickflip, ollie or shove-it, but possible none the less.

I've been skating for a couple years the best I can do is a varial kickflip but I can only lanx then some times.

I'm a skater in that I can use a skateboard as a mode of transportation and that's about it. I'd probably be better and be able to do some basic tricks if I didn't suffer from cerebral palsy.

I am too much of a scaredy to skateboard. XD However, I love skateboarding video games, specifically the old Tony Hawk games and more importantly, the Skate series. Those games are so fun and their dedication to being realistic and true to Skateboarding. It makes it so addicting to play. I know so many people loooove Skate 3 because of the glitches, but I have little interest in that aspect, I want to play it for the skateboarding. Can't wait for that to go backwards compatible on Xbox One.

My friends used to really be into skateboarding. I don't know why they stopped though...

 

One time during school, I hopped on to my friend's skateboard and I tried to a do a "kick-flip". Just seconds later, my back was on the floor and his skateboard went flying, smacking the school elevator's door. (Btw, it skinned another friend's head LOL). Apparently, I was wearing three jackets that day, it didn't hurt when I fell on my back hahaha

 

(and yes, three jackets cus it was frickin cold that day ;_

I don't skateboard but I do ride my longboard around town during the summer. That's pretty much it. I've considered getting into skateboarding, but I'm not sure about it.

I say try it, but don't go on half pipes or ride on a rail just yet, but I can't force you to do anything.

I've been skateboarding since I was 10,it's awesome to just ride around the neighborhood chillin'.I've notice i've been progressing over the years,and yeah i've made huge mistakes.The biggest mistake would be when I was 12 trying to be "cool" by not wearing any protection and long story short, broke my left arm.But that didnt stop me from doing what I liked,once I was free from the cast on my arm I went straight back to skateboarding.

Now after years of getting used to the feel and control of my board,by 2015 I didn't need to wear any protection anymore. 

I sometimes ride my skateboard from/and back to school which is something the school doesn't like very much. 

I've also been currently thinking about spray painting my board with the "Frankenstrat" design.

I always wanted to skateboard as a kid, but my Mom was always afraid that I'd hurt myself and never got me one when I was younger. Nowadays, I don't really care too much about getting into skateboarding.

I got my skateboard and it's been fun, much more core intensive then I remembered it being as a kid. Though that is better and more exercise as well. I've not yet tricked out my deck with ponies. Though also I'm like with a passion of a professional skater, I am however more of a casual skater so I'm not exactly like the best on skateboard but that does not stop me from trying to be haha.

I’m not athletically inclined at all. I’d fall off even if I still had one foot planted on the ground. I could see myself customizing a board with some cute designs, but I’m an artist, not an athlete, so I’ll just appreciate the sport from the sidelines, and hope that I don’t get run over by someone else on one of those things.
