That's an okay date to go by. It's very soon from the prior season. Maybe even too soon but I'll be glad to see more pony in the near future. I should look up nearby group meetups. Maybe I can watch it with others? That might be extra fun.

YAY! Best reformed villain returns! Seeing how Starlight'll have a mane role in this episode makes me happy. Hopefully, they execute it well and then bring her back for more roles in later episodes.

 

Secondly, it doesn't look like there'll be a villain or antagonist in this two-parter. If that's true, it's a refresher.

 

Cross fingers and hope Flurry Heart will be well written.

Hey guys, it looks like Starlight's redemption won't be completely wasted. She's in the episode.

 

I hope the episode shows the struggles of her coming to terms with making friends. And Twilight taking a more teacher role.

 

As per usual, I won't raise my expectations because that will more likely lead to disappointment.

Aww... I thought the sixth season premiere was supposed to be in May this year (May 14^th I said)! And now the premiere is three weeks away on the 26^th after Good Friday, so Zap2it might be right with the premiere date earlier than May! I'm very hyped for the sixth season!

Also it's a 4-month hiatus between the fifth season finale and the sixth season premiere, instead of a 6-month (half year) hiatus!

I think that was kind of the entire point of the trailer honestly, so I think most everyone noticed it XD

 

Honestly, this looks like its just shaping up to be a plot tailor made to shill starlight given that her special talent is taking away other ponies magic; she'll probably end up saving the day and be lauded as the best thing ever in the world by dampening or controlling flurry's magic :/

 

NOT looking forward to this; I hate starlight, and given how FG went (and the last finale to a small extent) I have very low expectations for this, ESPECIALLY if its by haber.
