Kyubi heard heard all but one of the vent exits close. When she began to smell lavender, the bat pony's body did relax, but she could still think clearly. When enough of the gas had filled the area she was in, she knew it would be a good time to enact her plan. Kyubi then basically collapsed onto the metal bottom of the vent and barely held her eyes open, making it seem like

 

Orion stopped his attack and grit his teeth when he noticed the alarm, and knew that he could force the door open. After doing such, the dragon stepped outside and ran down the hall. He would come back for Gale after all the noise died down.

Kyubi headed the announcement and exited the vent in a hallway, before waiting for a guard to escort her to wherever she was supposed to go.

 

Orion sighed as he sat to the left of Gale's door. He didn't have enough electricity to cut her door, so he would have to wait for her to burn through or have a guard unlock the door.

Damien almost laughed when he heard that, "They actually think that after all this," he gestured to the lab in general, "I'll trust them? Gale groaned as she woke up and heard the guard banging on the door. The dragoness then walked out and noticed that Orion was to the side of the door. What's going on? Are we going to meet whoever's in charge?" She asked, having not heard the announcement during her slumber.

Kyubi noticed the guard and stood. She didn't know what was being planned by whoever was in charge, but this could mean her chance at freedom. "Ok." She said.

 

Apollo felt a bit guilty that he hadn't saved Gale, but knew that there was nothing he could do. "If whoever is planning all of this tries anything, I won't hold back." He thought to himself.

@@reader8363, @, Cresent was torn between the two, debating o if this was really a trap. He herd Mall chuckle at Damien "well if its a trap, then at least we can see everyone die. what?" Mall said as cresent gave him a stern look.

 

"just shut up for a second" the batpony said to his other half. addressing the other two "its one of two things, a trap or what ever this thing is. Its desperate and will try to make a deal of some sort. we need to be ready for that" cresent said rather coldly, yet loud enough for both to hear.

Damien used his magic and teleported out of Shadow's grip. "I don't want to fight you Shadow, but I will if I have to. I don't trust these creatures I know that this is some kind of trick. We can't trust a single thing they say. I made the mistake of listening to one of them, and he almost got me." He tenses, getting ready to either run off or fight. "Cresent, now it never. Are you with me?"

Gale nodded slightly and decided that it would be best to just follow the guard. She was a bit nervous, though. The dragoness had very little knowledge on what was actually going on, and she would've probably ran if it wasn't for Orion being there. For some reason, she felt a bit more comfortable with him around.

Kyubi felt a bit awkward as she followed the guard and felt like she was being lead to her death, but knew that there was no point in fighting. If she resisted, then she might never get out of here.

 

Orion walked alongside Gale and gently nuzzled her in an attempt to comfort the dragoness. He could tell that she was nervous, but he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

This made Damien very angry. "I am most certainly not scared of a few guards. I just think that this is a trap and would rather get back to finding a way out of here than walk right into it! I've been held prisoner before, you know how long that was? It was a thousand bucking years! I almost went insane after all that time! And I would rather avoid ever being captured again! So if you'll excuse me, I've got to find a way out of this hell."

Gale gave a light smile as Orion attempted to comfort her and felt a bit more relaxed. The dragoness then returned the nuzzle, before moving forwards. "Thanks. I needed that." She said. The dragoness was happy that he was with her, and probably wouldn't have been as willing to go with the guard if he wasn't there with her.

Orion gave a light blush as Gale nuzzled him and was happy that she wasn't as worried as before. The dragon had to admit that he was glad that he had met Gale, even if it wasn't in the best of circumstances. While he hadn't met many other dragons during his containment, he felt different around her.

Damien was pretty 'rage mode' at this point. "You think watching 17 ponies die before you is bad? Try watching hundreds of them die, thousands even, and just knowing that you can't do a thing about it? That is what fighting a war is like, and don't pretend you know shit about it. I fought ponies that would have been my friends, controlled by King Sombra, to do his dirty work. Their blood is on my hooves, all of them. Innocent lives, taken by me, how would you feel if you were in my place there? Could you do it? No! I bet you couldn't, and from all of that, what do I get? A heavy conscious, trying to forget all I have done. I can't even sleep anymore! You think you know pain, suffering after going through this?!" He gestures to the general area, "You know NOTHING! NOTHING! So after all I've gone through, I think I have the right to not trust things that have tried to kill me on various occasions, without being criticized the by the likes of you!"

Gale rolled her eyes as the guard turned around, but decided that it would be best not to say anything else. The dragoness then pressed her wings close to the sides of her body and moved a bit closer to Orion as she walked. She was curious as to how long he had stayed here, but knew that asking would get her reprimanded by the guard again.

Orion wasn't expecting Gale to move so close, and decided to take a risk and put a wing over her back. He wouldn't let any of the guards hurt the dragoness, and he was also a bit curious as to who the others were.
