I'm more flabbergasted that anyone would ever WANT mare do well to ever return. that episode is pretty infamously hated as one of the worst episodes of the series by the fandom.

 

Differing opinions and all that, yeah, but its pretty decisively disliked by a fairly large majority of the fandom instead of just portions of it.

the reason they hated it was because of rainbow dash getting too carried away with saving ponies which half of she started up trouble mare-do-well as a character is fine but i'd rather see her as an actual character not any of the mane 6

From just season 5 I would love to see more of Sassy Saddles and Limestone Pie. Also: Cheese Sandwich, Babs Seed, Bon Bon, Lightning Dust, and Sunburst are all characters I would be very happy to see more of. I also would really like for Cadance and Shining Armour to get deeper roles, even though they already have several appearances.

Sombra (in a flashback episode in the past but it is not like those happen)

I get why people miss Lightning Dust but revenge plot line had been done twice already with Trixie and Starlight. It would be really good reason for me to think exciting to bring her back. I think ideal one would be Rainbow actually gets red up with Wonderbolts after the way she has been treated and looks for other tream for a while and finds one where Lightning is in now. And she is not actually a villain, just granted conflict some way else. But Rainbow returns to Wonderbolts in the end after she desides that they need her or something rather than she neening them.

but no, seriously, the thing is she's tied to that universe's narrative. She shouldn't appear in FIM because she's not tied to this series plot, but equestria girls plots, which are divorced from FIM and don't intertwine in continuity.

so bringing her into FIM would be clunky IMO.

Don't expect her ever showing up on the show, but I wouldn't be opposed to a cameo, even just a picture of her just for the meltdowns. I mean, they still had a Flash Sentry cameo, nothing really stopping Sunset at this point

That sounds like a fantastic idea for an episode. Would be a shame for it to be stuck in secondary material considering the some of the crap they've actually greenlit for episodes

I want more of Ms Harshwhinny. I know her character is a total buzz kill. I just love her voice and demeanor. Imagine Harshwhinny trying hard to please Celestia? Would be a good episode for her and explore her obsession with perfection and professionalism.

Well, the show's team has said there will be some more Trixie on the way, so yeah, that'll sure be sweet!

She's  a fan favorite. I don't think we've seen the last of her; she's a funny character, and bronies love her. (though, that's partially due to bronies making a large amount of porn of her)

They put her in the EQG universe after all, in both the books and the comics.
