So what's your least favorite part of any videogame you've ever played?

For me, that would be the ice physics in the Snowpeak Ruins in The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.

The communities of almost every online game I've ever played have dampened the experience a lot.

Example: (Paladins)- Team picks 4 flanks and I'm blamed for not being able to tank out infinite amounts of damage. EXCUSE ME? WHAT IS THEIR MAJOR MALFUNCTION? I CAN'T 1V5 WITH A FREAKING SUPPORT. It's my fault for not dodging though, I will say that.

Other than that, I really didn't like how Borderlands (the original game) didn't use it's potential and actually expand on some areas, especially the whole of the Dahl Headlands. Makes it have the feel that it was rushed at the end.

The Library from Halo is awful. It's one of the most tedious experiences ever and the one thing that keeps me from replaying the game

Yo man that's one of the best dungeons in the game, and the series

Yeah, I know, but with how I cope with Ice Physics, it takes me forEVER to beat it. Snow so deep in the courtyard it takes five minutes to get from one part of the courtyard to the next. It's monotonous for me.

Most of the Other Worlds in Silent Hill 2, most of the Boss Battle in Silent Hill 2 and the story. Which is good, but doesnt really have something to do with Silent Hill, in my Opinion.

Time limits in retro games were just annoying. They gave you just barely enough time, and when you do start running out, you hurry and are more prone to make mistakes. I can think of no better example than the Mario Bros time limit. Especially World 8's levels, they're ones you want to take your time with, but you can't.

I wouldn't mind if they were optional for people who want more of a challenge, but for people like me who don't like to be rushed when playing video games, it's just the worst.

The difficulty curve in pretty much any NES or SNES ship shooter. (1941, Gradius, Darius, Zanac, etc.) Level 1 is just the right amount of difficulty but as soon as you hit Level 2,  it's like "BULLET HELL RAAAAASDFGHJKL *LOSES 3 LIVES IN AS MANY MINUTES* YOUR TEARS FEED OUR DEVELOPERS, GO READ NINTENDO POWER FOR HINTS AND TRY AGAIN SKRUBLORD."

Unskippable forced tutorials. In this day and age, most games are including an option to turn off tutorials, but older games give you no option whatsoever. It was fine the first time I played it, less pleasant the fourth time around, and don't get me started with sequels that use the exact same controls but still feel the need to force you through the tutorial.

The bane of my existence are forced stealth sections. There was one part in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood where you had an obnoxiously long stealth section where you couldn't be spotted even once, despite your character being more than capable of depopulating all of Italy blindfolded if he so chose. Who cares if a random guard spots me if I'm not going to leave any survivors anyway? In the end, that section caused me to abandon the game and the series itself, since I don't want to keep playing without finishing this game, and I don't feel like playing that entire mission again because it just sucks.

Another thing I hate is escort missions of any kind. I don't want to defend any NPC or McGuffin for an arbitrary amount of time, especially since these NPCs and objects are generally constructed from soggy cardboard and fall apart if someone looks at them too hard. Especially in games which exists solely for Rule of Cool, like Just Cause, these kinds of missions just ruin all of the fun.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor's final boss battle. Shadow of Mordor is a fantastic blend of Assassin's Creed movement and Batman Arkham's fighting, with a fleshed out progression system. You spend the whole game unlocking bigger and badasser combat skills all leading up to this final boss battle with Sauron himself. And then you get there and it's a quick time event! You don't actually get to fight him, you press three buttons as you watch a cutscene of him being fought and defeated. Seriously disappointing!
