I always go for the Patriots, when they make it, both because they're my second favorite team, and because it pisses other people off

I'm going for the Patriots because I want my beloved Vikings avenged. I'm still broken by this whole thing and really need a lot more hugs than I can ever imagine.

@Northern Light Flyer

I actually saw part of the game earlier in a pasta restaurant and was very worried.

Want me to comfort you?

(Hugs you)

I just don't understand how the Eagles made fools out of our defense without Carson Wentz.

Welp. Horrible outing for the Vikings, despite the huge boost in morale vs. the Saints last weekend. That was quite disappointing. :( I'm going for the Eagles in the Super Bowl, because I really don't like the Patriots (I'm a Broncos fan, and a true Broncos fan never roots for the Patriots ;)).

And IMO if you look at the history, the Eagles are the underdogs even though they had the same record as the Patriots this year. They have never won a Super Bowl, despite the fact that they have been around since long before Super Bowl I. Whereas the Patriots have won five times since the turn of the century. They're a dynasty, but I think it's time for an upset.

I know exactly how you feel, but I'm too disappointed in my team to root for the Eagles. Even if it is against New England.

I always push for teams who have never won a Super Bowl. I'm rooting for the Eagles. They are the only Philadelphia team to not win an existing title. The last time the Flyers won the Stanley Cup was 1975. The last time the 76ers won an NBA championship was 1983. And the Phillies last won the World Series in 2009. The Eagles last won an NFL Championship back in 1960, in the days before the Super Bowl.

I have a strong desire to see all 32 teams win the Super Bowl at least once. 19 teams have done so already, so let's have a 20th champion.

I'll probably root for the Patriots; I still believe on Eli could beat them in the Super Bowl.

Football isn't really my thing, the only time it is, is when the Colts (My state team) do well aaaaaaaaand that didn't happen this year. Apparently LUCK was not on their side har har har.

As for this though, I know that the Patriots make it to the Super Bowl almost every damn year so...boooooo on them. I don't care who the other team is as long as they win against the Patriarchy.

I guess I'm rooting for the Eagles, but I'm not real wild about either team. I just don't want to see yet another Patriots victory.

I don't know if they can pull it off, but I would rather see the Eagles win than Tom Brady.

I think that is what everyone who doesn’t live in New England is thinking.

I am definitely rooting for the Eagles btw. I am sick and tired of the Patriots making it every year.

I vouch for the underdog (the Eagles), I would be annoyed if the Patriot won.. again.and would be surprised if they won with using a inflated football.  (yeh I drop the deflated football joke, because I know it would upset people)

It’s like 2007 all over again. The Giants weren’t supposed to make it through the playoffs and they beat several teams that were favored against them. Then everyone thought well Eli and company were just lucky and the Pats would make short work of them in the Super Bowl. At the end, I admit I was as shocked as anybody when the Giants prevailed.

Could something similar happen this year? It’s not likely, but I’m hoping it does. After all, the Brady-Belichick regime can’t always win, right?

Philly's a new of my favorite places to visit, so I'm rooting for them

Also I do not like New England teams. Boston fans are typically the most stand offish, rudest group I ever come across...and I go to Yankees games on the regular.

Really? I don’t think I have ever noticed that. I come from Jersey and have been a Yankees fan for years now. And I really do believe Red Sox fans have changed.

if you want to hear about”rude” trust me from everything that I have been hearing from others Philadelphia fans have a tendency to be one of the rudest out there. I’m sure not all Philly fans are like that but, this is just what I hear and read about.

anyway, getting off topic I’m rooting for the Pats to win.

New England doesn't need another ring. People are sick and tired of seeing the same teams in the championship.

May Tom Brady be blown out by Philly.

I really want Philly to win, but I feel that's not gonna happen. It's gonna take an act of astronomical proportions to stop the Patriots

We'll see, people thought NE would win during the 2007 season, and the underdog Giants ended up winning.

Nick Foles' play will be the x factor - the Pats have a big advantage at QB but Philly is superior at most other positions, particularly the O-Line and on defense. If Foles plays the way he did in the NFC championship game the Eagles will be nearly impossible to beat.

Go Pats!!! Brady needs one for the other hand
