“Oh wow, that sounds awful, Keen!” Silver replied sympathetically. “I trust you’re doing much better now. Initially I only came here to get food, and while I’m not completely out, I’d like to find something with a bit more sustenance than dried fruit. It’s star fruit, I don’t know if you’ve ever had any, a lot of ponies I’ve talked to haven’t. Speaking of Las Pegasus, I’m with you on the arcade games there. Is that something you’re into? I had no knowledge of them beforehand, being from an isolated village and all. But I sure am a fan of them now. I may or may not have spent a few too many bits at the arcade while I was there.” He said with a sheepish grin.

“That’s cool, Sundae. I’m glad you’re getting good business here. I need to find some food that’ll travel better than ice cream, but I’ll be sure to stop by your shop before I leave to pick something up! Ice cream is one of my favourites.” Silver replied with a smile.

Samurai leans in closer to Silver to whisper to him. "Oh, and I don't know if this is true or not... I've only heard about this in literature, but... If it's true that Kirins have fire powers, don't let that scare you from being here. Because I'm a fire elemental too, and you'll fit in just fine here." Samurai says with a knowing wink. 

Samurai’s words were rather relieving for the Kirin to hear. So many ponies simply had such little knowledge about Kirin in general, and of course, the only things anypony seemed to remember were negative. If nothing else, at least he’d be in good company. Despite this, it still wasn’t something Silver wished to announce to everypony, so they would certainly have to have a chat later.

“Thank you for your kind words, Samurai. I’ll be sure to check out the town square. Oh, you’ve got more friends inside? I’ll be sure to say hi to them as well, I like meeting new ponies.” Silver replied with a smile. “I’m sure I’ll see you later on.”

Silver considered taking up Samurai’s offer, though he doubted it was directed at him, but given how he had no idea who these ponies were or what had happened to them, he felt it was best to stay here in the meantime. Plus, he still hadn’t found a safe place for his cart.

“Yes, besides I'm a gamer which makes more sense why I play arcade” then she heard Samurai call out for her and Shadow “Look, sorry, I have no time. Maybe let's start a conversation later?” she turn tail and trot to Samurai. Shadow already came to him “I'm here. Now what?” Shadow didn't say anything. She just waiting for the teleportation spell so she went be a little dizzy.

"I guess superpowers is the right word. Again, I'm not really sure what a human is. Unless it's a creature that's either found or not found in Equestria, but I suppose super powers is the common word. At least, for other worldly powers, or something along those lines. For Equestria, these superpowers are basically called magic. Same thing goes with flight, as well as super strength and connection to the earth. There are other creatures that can either use fire or other things that suits who they are." He explained with a smile. He wasn't well versed in magic, but he explained to the best of his abilities.

Upon learning the drawback to Thundy's abilities, Dynamo could only tilt his head in slight confusion. "When you said you need a jumpstart to get your energy back. Do you mean you would need to be zapped by electricity to get a sort of recharge? It seems a bit risky with how magic can be regained manually with time. It just doesn't seem normal, but I guess it's more along the lines of how much magic reserve you have. I think it has something to do with one's cutie mark, but I'm not entirely sure. It was briefly explained when I was in school." He says, beginning to take notice of the electricity forming in Thundy's talons. His mouth parted slightly as if he was beginning to speak, but no words had appeared. His eyes widened in awe at how the electricity formed into a sphere of energy. Blinking at how the griffon held the energy out towards him, Dynamo slowly began to extend a hoof towards the energy. It was as if he was a moth to a flame. The gamer pony simply being fascinated in how the magic was in complexity and design. Suddenly, Dynamo pulled back his hoof. All the while, blinking and having a look of hesitation on his expression. "Um...this ball of energy isn't going to hurt and/or shock me, or send me flying backwards, right? I've never really touched a physical manifestation of what is to be considered pure energy. I'm still new when it comes to the concept of magic. So, I'm not sure what could or would happen." He would say, the look of hesitation dissolved into an apologetic look towards the griffon.

Pencil blushed slightly at the compliments. Even if she was use to artistic praise by now, it was still very flattering to hear. She also appreciated the kind words towards the commission. Knowing she was getting support through it made her feel a lot better.

Upon Dynamo asking for spare drawing supplies, Pencil replied,

“Sure, I have extras! Here you go!” She ripped out a page from the back of her notebook then dug around her saddle bag for an extra pencil. Finding a nice sharp one, she slid it across the table along with the piece of paper.

“What are you gonna draw anyways? Is it a surprise?” Pencil asked curiously.

Pencil turned to the griffons, who were carefully explaining the source of their magic. In a sense, it was similar to unicorn magic with its connection to raw energy and strength of the wielder. The only difference was the power didn’t stem from a horn, so the magic output was a little different, being produced with what the griffons called ‘hands’.

“That’s really interesting. Pencil commented. You said it was lightning magic, right? What do you do with it, exactly?”

While Pencil waited for Thundy’s response, her eyes wandered over to Chelsea, who had shifted slightly. She had shifted in such a way that Pencil could barely see her Cutie Mark, which was a yin-and-yang water symbol.

That makes sense. She uses water to get around Pencil mentally noted.

Pencil was a bit hesitant to speak to the still upset griffon, but she figured perhaps the griffon would cheer up after a friendly conversation. Politely, Pencil stated,

“So, uh...I like your Cutie Mark! It’s very pretty,”

Once the page was being ripped out of the back of the notebook, Dynamo grinned as he was given the spare page by Pencil. "Thank you so much! I'm not exactly the best artist, but I've dabbled into drawing form time to time. Especially if it involves video games." He responded as the gamer pony was given an extra pencil, as well. As he began to draw, his ears perked as he heard Pencil's question. "I would say that it's definitely a surprise. You'll just have to wait and see." He gave her a quick wink, before turning his attention back towards the paper. Levitating the pencil in his magical grasp, the blue unicorn went right to work. He made sure to stop and take a bite to eat every now and then. All the while, taking time to recall certain weapons from games from memory. After some time had passed, Dynamo had placed the pencil back down on the table as his work was completed. "I'm not entirely sure if you've ever heard of the video game called Kingdom Hearts, but I drew some weapons from the game. I hope they look okay." He would say, levitating the paper over to Pencil for her and everyone else to see. Dynamo made sure to use both sides of the paper so it wouldn't go to waste.

The gamer pony looked up over to Thundy, while nodding at Pencil's questions. "I'm also rather curious on how you use your lightning magic. I think I mentioned it before. If not, then I've discovered that I have a sort of affinity to elemental magic. I'm hoping to discover what elemental magic is and how it can be used. Since I'm discovering my own style of video game magic." He grinned slightly in enthusiasm. His ears perked once more as he heard Pencil's remark of Chelsea's cutie mark. He looked over and was surprised to see said cutie mark. He had never seen a griffon with a cutie mark before, but he wondered if Chelsea was the same as Thundy. "I agree. I think your cutie mark looks pretty cool, in my opinion."

"Yep, a zap from a source will get me going once more." Thundy explained as he continued to hold the energy ball out for Dynamo. "It won't shock or zap you. But, if you squeeze it, it will feel tingly." Thundy said turning back to face Dynamo. 

Meanwhile Chelsea looked at the mare who observed her cutie mark. "I can do more..." Chelsea said still looking down, trying to get the bad memories out of her mind.

Silver noticed Keen and Shadow heading off with Samurai. “Alright then, I hope your friends at the hospital are doing well. I hope I’ll be able to talk with all of you later.” He waved a hoof at them and moved over towards Kronos, deciding to try and meet everyone outside before moving indoors.

“Hey there! Kronos, right? My name’s Silver Slate, I just arrived in town today. Do you live here, or are you new as well?” Silver asked with a smile. “I’ve been traveling across Equestria looking to discover who else we share this wonderful world with. We Kirin don’t get out much, which probably explains why a lot of ponies have never seen one before…"

Sundae was about to approach Samurai but she stopped to look at Silver. She wanted to talk with him. She turn to her servant “Server, I want you to go back to my house and check if nopony had decided to break in” she said in a hushed tone “after that, go back to your family. I will be giving you pay cheque later when i'm available” her servant nodded before they turn tail and galloped away. Sundae then approached Samurai, Keen, and Shadow.

Kronos tilted his head towards the fluffy-maned pony. He’s never quite seen some with a body composition like this before. 
 

Is it a unicorn of sorts? a voice asked. 
 

It looks like one, another replied, But this one stands out. Look at all that fluff. 
 

And that pattern going through that pony’s body, a different one observed, I wonder if it’s some sort of ritualistic marking of some sort, like the clan mark burned on our ass. 
 

Don’t remind me of the clan initiation, Kronos told his voices, They branded me then tossed me out to fend for myself for eight years. 
 

Kronos proceeded to walk around the Kirin, observing his physical and observable features. He was tempted to agitate him, but, in his experience, agitating a creature you have no knowledge of is generally a bad idea and could get you trampled or worse. 
 

“So, you wanna know who you share this world with, huh?” Kronos asked the Kirin, “Well, if you must know, I’m not really a pony, though i look like one. I’m a Rokian, from the kingdom of Ragnarok. It’s a peaceful privilege to meet such a magnificent creature such as yourself.”

He pulled out his hand in a show of peace, albeit with some metal claws sticking out of it.

Trilby does his best to properly greet everyone and wave happily at Shadow. "Ah! Thank goodness to you, kind sir!" Trilby relieves Beryl from Kronos' shoulder, gently holding her in his hoof. "Oh mini horse, you had me so worried... Which reminds me... No time to talk! I've got so much to do! Mr... Uh... What was the name again? Kronk? Chronology? Kosmo?" Trilby struggles; he hasn't known him long enough to learn his name properly. Samurai leans over and whispers the correct name. "Kronos." Samurai tells him. "Ah! Yes! Mr. Kronos. I am in your debt. If you ever need a hat or a piece of clothing, come by my shop. Your first purchase is on the house." Trilby explains to Kronos.

Without a second to waste, he kicks opens Samurai's door and yells inside, holding Beryl away so she won't be disturbed. "ASTRAL VISION!! You in here?! Meet me in the library, stat! No time to explain, it's an EMERGENCY!!!" Trilby walks away from the door. "Forgive me, Beryl. I know you don't like this, but this is the fastest way to the library. Even if that doesn't make you feel better, I can at least find that book about Breezies and find out how to help you properly." Trilby explains before teleporting away.

Trilby arrives in front of the library. They are open today. He carefully goes inside, finds a desk he can put Beryl on safely, then searches the book shelves. "I think it was in the Foreign Studies section..."

//In the foreign Studies section there was a very thin book about breezies. It mention how they're a rare type of pixie, how they collect pollen before the magic in said pollen 'expires' and that they live in magical pocket dimension only avaliable through a special type of portal. The only things noted beyond the sheer basics was how there MAYBE more types of breezies, their maybe more than one home for them scattered around Equestria but they haven't been studied enough to know  and with a little bit about breezies having a strange common fear for griffons.

Beryl woke to find herself on a desk. She jolts straight up before seeing Trilby a few sections down and flying to him. "wad are yu doin? And where iz da breeze poni?"

Silver also saw Sundae join Samurai and the others, and quickly waved his hoof before returning to his conversation with Kronos. Maybe he should have gone with them? Oh well, all he would have done is stand there awkwardly anyway, not knowing what to say.

Silver couldn’t help but give Kronos a bit of an amused look as he circled him. He was used to ponies being a bit curious about him, and Kronos didn’t appear to be a threat, at least for the time being. Kronos offered him his hoof…or whatever it was…and Silver returned the gesture the best he could. “Same to you, Kronos. I’ve never heard of a Rokian or Ragnarok before, so if you don’t mind, could you tell me a bit about yourself and where you’re from?” Silver levitated his journal over in front of him, the flame pattern on his horn glowing a light blue colour while using his magic. “If you don’t want to, I get it, it’s totally fine. I’m just collecting info for my friends and family back home. That is one of the reasons for all my travels.”

Samurai took the hooves of those going with him and teleports. However, when they get there, Fable is all ready gone. They can knock on her door and look in the window all they want, but she is nowhere to be found. "Aww... Well that's disappointing. Where could she have gone? I really..." Samurai is interrupted when his and Shadow's call rings activate. "Oh! The hospital! No time to think about it. We'll meet Fable some other time. Here we go!" Taking all three hooves again, Samurai teleports once more and brings his friends along.

Shadow, Keen, Sundae, and Samurai all arrive at the hospital. As they enter, guess who else should be there? Fable, of course!
"Fable! We just came by to your house. Sorry I was in a hurry earlier. I didn't mean to blow you off. I just have a REALLY busy schedule today. But we're all here and... Are you seeing the mystery colt too?" Samurai asks.

About that time, the nurse comes by, takes Shadow's and Samurai's call rings. "Thank you for coming. The mystery colt you all found has awakened, and his name is Boulder Dash. You may see him now." The nurse says, escorting all of them to the room.

Together, all 5 of them enter his room and pay him a visit. "Ohayo. You must be Boulder Dash, the one I've been hearing about."

Dynamo looked over to Pastel, who was approaching the orb of energy that Thundy was still holding. "Hold on a second, Pastel. I don't know if it's safe to hold on to. After what happened in the race yesterday, I wouldn't want you to get hurt. That, or for any magic surges to happen that would possibly damage the house. I'd be worried if Samurai had a fit if that happened." He panicked slightly as he recalled the events from the race yesterday. 

He sighed as his questions were answered by Thundy, who had explained the concept of the energy orb. "That's a relief. I'm still a little apprehensive of it all, but I didn't want to take any chances. Better to be safe than sorry, in my opinion. It's also good to know that a zap from a source can help you if you are even in trouble. I discovered in a race yesterday that I can use fire and ice. I know you and Chelsea can use thunder and water respectively. Now I wonder if I can use those elements too." He would say, extending his hoof out towards the orb once more. Taking the orb into his hooves, the gamer pony was surprised that the orb was warm to the touch. "I never knew that magic, or even energy could be so warm." He commented, feeling a slight tingle in his front hooves as Thundy's remark was true.

As Bluebell got ready to leave the hospital, she spotted something under the pillow of the hospital bed. She turned slowly; it was awkward to move with a cast and a brace on your foreleg. She used her lip to gently slip the piece of paper from under the pillow.  It looked old.  It was yellowed and brittle around the edges, and she saw these words written on it in gold:

With the lightest levitation spell, she took the fragile page and placed it in her saddle bag, and then made her way to the door. When she got outside she saw Samurai across the hall, and started approaching them.  "H-h-hey," she softly called out.

Sundae was complete off guard by Samurai's sudden teleportion to the hospital that she almost puked in Boulder's room of all places. Shadow and Keen gave her a worried look before looking at Boulder. They didn't seem to notice Fable for unknown reasons as they are very worried of the colt.

When Samurai spoke up, Shadow lifted an eyebrow at him “How did you know his name?” she asked.

Both Sundae, Keen, and Shadow didn't seem to hear Bluebell, however, a letter fell off Keen's saddlebag, which says:

Soon, the night will shall rise and devour the light. I now sat on the throne of my former enemy. Everypony who is against my rule are all but Vanished. May the night become eternal, and so are my children. 

The letter can be easily mistaken as a dialogue for a drama show, but she still can't expose the earth pony's true nature.

Samurai was happy to see her again. "Hello, Bluebell! I came by here to see you. Have you all ready been discharged from the hospital? We're about to see a young colt that was also admitted here about the same time as you. Would you like to come with us?"

Samurai looks confused at Shadow's question. "What do you mean? The nurse just told us his name a second ago." Samurai says. He then looks at Keen and Sundae. "Oh my... Was all that teleporting too much? I'm sorry about that. Sometimes I get a little compulsive." Samurai bows in apology.

Samurai never noticed the letter Keen dropped.

Trilby finds the book and reads through it as quickly, but as carefully, as he can. "Hmm... So maybe that glowing was from a lack of magic pollen? Or maybe something else? If only Beryl was awake..." Trilby says to himself. And shortly after, he gets his wish. "Beryl!" Gently, he gives her a hug, which is really more like Trilby lightly pressing her against his cheek. Not enough to hurt, just enough to show he cares. "You really scared me there for a second, my friend. I thought I lost you..." Trilby then hears her questions. "Breeze pony? Not sure what you mean. You wondered off and fainted, and someone named Kronos found you. I brought you here to the library because I was trying to figure out the best way to help." Trilby holds up the book. "So far, all I've found is an entry about magic pollen. Is that why your antenna were glowing last night?" Trilby asks.

"Watch this." Thundy said putting more electricity into the ball of energy. It began to tremble a little and all of a sudden...it poofed into a sweet treat. "Want it?" Thundy asked. It was a fresh vanilla mini pastry.

When the Kirin inquired about his culture, Kronos’ face lit up. 
 

“Well,” Kronos explained, “The short version of my culture is that we are a stratocracy, a government led by military forces. I happen to be a descendant of the kingdom’s most powerful house and clan, the Mighty Krystialltons, Heads of the Reaver House. I do also carry to title at home of Architect of Destruction, with my elder sister Rhea being the Wrath of the Ancient Warriors of Ragnarok. I stand out amongst my people in that I happen to have a sharper inclination towards intellect and poise—then again, considering the near barbaric nature of my people, that’s not a particularly high bar set up.”
 

Hey!!! his voices interjected simultaneously.

 

“Anyways, that’s the short end of the story of my culture. If you want some more details on any aspect of my culture, don’t hesitate to consult me.”

Upon telling him to watch, Dynamo kept staring at the ball of energy as Thundy added more electricity into the orb. He could feel his front hooves beginning to tremble, before the ball of energy suddenly poofed into a sweet treat. The gamer pony's eyes widened, as well as his jaw dropping slightly at what he witnessed. "W-What? How? I mean, was that a sort of transformation spell, or a transmutation? What did you just do or create?" He suddenly grinned as he couldn't believe there was a way to make something like that happen. He thought there was a sort of transfiguration spell, but Thundy wasn't a unicorn. He suddenly stopped himself from thinking of so many possibilities, before turning his attention over towards Pastel. "Thanks, but I'm still eating my breakfast. Did you want to have this treat Pastel? If not, then maybe someone else wants this sweet treat instead?" He looks to everyone else, while offering the treat that was given to him by the male griffon.

Samurai was happy to see her again. "Hello, Bluebell! I came by here to see you. Have you all ready been discharged from the hospital? We're about to see a young colt that was also admitted here about the same time as you. Would you like to come with us?"

"Of c-c-course," said Bluebell.  "F-forgive my-my slowness.  Th-th- this contraption on my-my l-l-l-leg is cumbersome.  I-I-I w-was wondering if there-there was an inn where I-i could s-s-s-stay."

A lot of things were happening all at once. The first one to arrive was an emerald green pony without a horn or wings. Given he didn't have either of those either he had to assume they were the same type of sub race of these creatures. She had the image of a book on her flank that had some type of golden horseshoe. She wasn't the only one with these strangely prominent images on their flanks. Were they some type of tattoo? Why only in that one part of the body? Must be a cultural thing. She also seemed to be wearing some type pearl jewelry. Clothing seemed to be rather optional in this society if the medical staff was anything to go by, and this seemed to add to that idea. 

The other ponies had their own eye catching palates, much different than what he was used too back in his home reality. 

"Thank you all for helping me yesterday." Boulder said, bowing his head slightly as he sat on the medical bed. " What is this place called? I can't remember much so I'm trying to understand where I am."
