daviddaviddavid 776 February 19, 2022 Share February 19, 2022 I think I pay for 200 download/20 upload, and I get slightly over that. I'm on wifi too so if I were cabled up, the speed might improve a little.
RavenholmZombie 1,330 February 24, 2022 Share February 24, 2022 We pay over $100 per month for this trash. Consolidated Communications is the worst ISP I've ever seen. 1 RavenholmZombie - Brony since 2011
Splashee 28,558 February 24, 2022 Author Share February 24, 2022 To be honest, the real internet speed is what YouTube gives you. Mine is 4000 Kbps to 9000 Kbps. My real speed is 11 Mbps and up is 1 Mbps. This is on telephone copper line
Northern Star 1,023 February 25, 2022 Share February 25, 2022 We pay for 100x100mbps and get about 150x150. We can go all the way up to 10x10gbps. Yes gigabits per second. Its only $700 a month with free leased equipment and completely useless as there is nothing you can connect to at that speed but it's fun to talk about it.

Splashee 28,558 April 13, 2023 Author Share April 13, 2023 Finally after 15+ years of having ADSL, the speed of 11 Mbps limit is now gone (RIP copper cables). This was my speed: Now with optic fiber, and with no way for a lighting strike to destroy my router (copper cables are in the past), I now got this: (The uploading speed is quite nice to have when uploading stuff to my server or to this forum, so that is a huge benefit!) Also, finally back to having internet again Still the same computer and hardware, just faster internet!
