Splashee 28,547 March 17, 2020 Share March 17, 2020 (edited) How fast Internet access do you have? The copper wires from the telephone station to my house allow my ADSL connection a physical downstream of approximately 11 Megabits per second (Mbps). I am limited to 1 Mbps upstream by the Internet provider. Spoiler Prefixed as Health because you don't feel well if you have a slow connection, right? Phosphor 11,524 March 17, 2020 Share March 17, 2020 (edited) I have Viasat satellite internet. Internet options are limited in rural areas. It's either this or 4G LTE, and even then those LTE plans suck. Early Sunsets 2,106 March 17, 2020 Share March 17, 2020 (edited) No idea why my upload speed is that much worse than my download, but I'm not a Twitch streamer, so it's still more than good enough for me. I have Cox, btw. No idea what our plan is. Edited March 17, 2020 by Booker

Here No Longer 5,272 March 18, 2020 Share March 18, 2020 (edited) Mine's actually pretty fast now. Sometimes I can get download speeds as high as 6 MB/sec on Steam. At least it's not what I had to deal with before when I had it. That internet was SUPER SLOW. Like it felt like dial-up compared to what I have now, and apparently what I HAVE isn't even really THAT good.
