What's something you liked but also disliked about Chapter 2?

Personally, I was enjoying the cute adventures in the first half of Chapter 2, but the second when I was waiting for almost anything to happen, it just didn't.

There are much to process in order to get the good parts, but the bad parts are quite obvious:
 

I haven't gotten to the end of the chapter yet, but I am very much seeing the baby dragon to not be a good plot, especially the magic fire. It makes no sense. Earth pony magic is fine, but the baby dragon gets too much attention in every episode.
The villain is a little bit too obsessed with magic, to the point where I wonder why magic is even important? It becomes such a 1D goal in a 3D show. Is she after world domination? Is she after changing things to a better or worse place? Is she misunderstood? Or is she just pure evil beyond reasoning? Or is she just after magic? She's already an alicorn. She is alive and Twilight is not. What more is there to do with her?
