I sway until I get into it, I do this weird dance move thing ((I have no clue what to call it...sorta like whatFlutterage posted.) and then my friends and I...well first of oll we are dance circle people (and go to an artschool so 2/3 of us are dance/theatre/vocal people so there are alot of dramatics...). We do the typical blob dancing of jumping and moving to the music, acting the lyrics etc. I often go into the middle and dance with my friends however they dance. And some people break dance and omg its so fun!I remember my friends and i who took a dance class (hip-hop) together did the moves we learned in the class...except we did it randomly in the hallway... Mostly we do dances with set moves like the time warp or...urgh I cant remember the name...lol. we kinda nerd out. And you do NOT want to see 150 highschoolers belting out and intensely and nerdily sorta dancing to Bohemian Rhapsody... I just have fun when I dance. I just put everything I've got into it, dance hard, and hae fun (I just realized how much I love school dances XD )

Well, when I dance alone, i do this awkward step-touch thing, but when I dance with guys or my friends, there's a couple different dances...I learned them in Europe, they don't really have a name.

I've been dancing all my life - but never street dances or the newest styles. Ballet, modern, jazz, and now tap-dance...nI've been dancing for 12 years. (And the one I've succeeded most in is tap-dance )

 

At parties, I hide, because party dancing = I'M GONNA MAKE A FOOL OF MYSELF

 

I tend to brag with my dancing experience, but then I don't have like any party dancing experience... When I'm on the floor (at parties), it seems like I've never learned to separate my left foot and my right foot.

Like a white guy who can't dance. And no, not being racist, just really literal. I am white, and can not dance. Every time I "let lose" I am stiffer than a board and look horrible. It does elicit laughs from friends, which is fun, but no real dancing comes from me.

 

I have learned a bit of swinging and two step. Neither is hard, I just need a partner and more practice. Traditional dancing with a partner makes a lot of sense to me, and I can get the beat down. The solo/dancing with people in a group but not with a partner confuses me and I got no beat.
