My race is caucasian and currently living in America, however my cultural and ethnic backround is more complicated. My father is Spanish meaning I am as well. That is really important to me, the culture, food and ritual aspects. Additionally, caucasians aren't always lightskinned. I am white, but my father has a darker skintone. He is not regarded as white where we live, he is much darker than the typical white American. I feel very connected to my spanish identity.
