I'm sorry if someone else has already conceived of and/or posted this, though, what is your form of access to the internet?

Desktop, Laptop, Cellular Phone, Smartphone, Portable Media Player,Tablet, Palmtop, Portable Gaming System, Gaming Console, PDA, or any other conceivable (or inconceivable) device?

The concept of this originates from the abundance of ponies claiming that they have had experienced issues related to site due to cellular phone, something I suppose I find foreign, as I'm in the possibly dwindling desktop/tower demographic.

Whoops, sorry, I didn't descry the "Multiple choice" button when I was crafting the post.

Not really, merely for the purpose of statistics and simply posting what you're on. Though, it can be a debate wherever you desire it to be. ^_^

Y U NO INCLUDE THE LEGENDARY MAKE-YOU-CLIMAX-FROM-THE-OPENING-SCREEN-SOUNDS PLAYSTATION 1 AKA PSX?

I use my mind mostly, because if I used the other things more than my brain, I would become adicted to technology and stop using my brain power. If we look at the good ol' days, they only had cauculators and they still thought it was a bad idea. So yeah, I'm staying with the "primitive" yet best tool - my brain.

Also I use a dekstop and a pocket cauculator.

I mainly access the forum from my iPad, although I occasionally use my laptop. I have an iPod Touch too, which I sometime use to visit the site if I'm in bed and can't be bothered getting up to get my iPad.

I only really use my iPod and PC, but to browse this site, but I've got a small boatload of internet capable devices.

I use my laptop for art and internet, and I use my desktop for school, gaming and internet.

Also Question, does Dreamcast still have a web browser? I thought the online service for DC was shut down a while ago.

I really only use my laptod and iPod for internet browsing in general.

For this specific website though, I usually prefer using my iPod when I'm in public because... well you know, I don't necessarily want everypony to give me weird looks because I'm on a pony website (it's not everypony that's loving and tolerant, unfortunately)

But I don't browse the web in public so much so I'm mostly on my laptop.

Laptop definitely. I have a smaller HP Laptop that is easy to transport.

Other than that my iPod Touch is next.

I would use a desktop but I don't get on to often and I also prefer my smaller laptop keyboard.

I mostly just use my desktop to surf the web. I have a cheap prepaid Walmart cell phone. I sometimes use my 3DS' internet browser, but very rarely.

I also use my mind.

Nice to know I'm not the only one that uses her mind to access the internet :) Suddenly I feel less alone and more understood.

I like my laptop the best because I like seeing things big but I use my phone and my nook too. Call me old fashioned.

I use my Desktop to go online most of the time, and when I feel I need some more pony at work or school, I'll log on from my Droid 2 Global. I've never had any problems with either, except on my phone when Feld0 had the snowflakes running, it really slowwed down my loading times a lot ;)

I'm not certain if SegaNet was required or not, but I believe there may be some methods to access the browser. I have the web browser on a disc, but I think it's more friendly to dial-up connections.

However, people conversant with technology will probably have ways around everything, I suppose. ^_^

Umm... maybe I jumped aboard the crazy train but isn't $600 a reasonable price for a computer  ? Mine was about upwards of that... with a discount dot dot dot and silence...

*and StarGazer stares at the stupid Mac that she loves yet hates and wonders to herself, why must I be stuck in this damned apple trap? And why can't they have a damned sale once in awhile? And God parted the clouds and said to StarGazer, I told you not to pick and eat that apple. But did you listen to me and get the dell instead? Noooooo.*

Dot dot dot and silence...

I really have no idea where that last bit came from(probably the 6 years of Catholic school) but I've been having an odd joke day  so do forgive me.

I mostly use the internet through my desktop computer. Laptop when I'm at school. Then I use my cell phone other times, although I don't recall ever visiting this site on there. I did on my 3DS once.

Dang, thats expensive, I might invest in an iPad.

iPads aren't exactly cheap themselves though - I think the cheapest one is $500. I use mine all the time though and I only use my laptop for school work, so if you already have an adequate laptop an iPad may be the way to go - unless having Flash is important to you.

  • 9 months later...

I use mainly my desktop, though I use my cellphone and tablet at times. I prefer desktop/laptop, I don't like touchscreens because I always manage to click the wrong thing, and I'm never where I want to be.
