-Watching anime

Music, Rain, and Ponies for sure.

Music is relaxing. Ballads, fast rock songs, heavy stuff, pop songs, all music relaxes me. Anything really, music just is nice in general.

I love those calm rainy days. Light rain, hard rain whatever. I just love the rain, it's by far my favorite type of weather. It relaxes me.

Ponies calm me down. Just seeing a smiling pony, like Rainbow Dash or any pony for that matter just soothes my soul. When I'm mad, sad or what have you I find watching an episode of MLP:FIM works amazingly. It's just so cute, and positive. It melts the stress right off of me.

When I'm angry: Going outdoors with my musket and stabbing the ground with my bayonet until I'm tired (it's really effective)

Anxious: Usually it's amplified by my OCD, but I usually just get rid of it by putting my anxieties to rest with common logic, then putting it at the back of my head.

When I'm stressed: This is kinda weird, but listening to Geiger counters actually calms me down X3. I don't know why, I guess it's kinda like a white noise for me.

Time is the only thing that works in a normal sense, I just have to wait for my anger/anxiousness/whatever in my mind to slow down and quieten down to an acceptable level.

Unlike the rest of you above, I don't have a material that helps me being calm.

  • Stargazing on a clear night.
  • The sound of thunder and rain.
  • Listening to calming or nostalgic music.
  • Laying down, closing my eyes, and reflecting upon my thoughts.
  • Reading well written literature.

Video games usually helps me relax. Just sitting down and embarking on an adventure of epic proportions helps me settle down and relax. Just like you, I also find that rainy weather helps me calm down at times. Listening to the rain hitting the ground, watching it fall, and absorbing the sight of the gloomy sky just helps put my mind at ease.

Listening to some of my favorite music relaxes me. I often do a mix of a few things to completely take my mind off things. Such as listen to music, draw, and talk to friends via texting or skype. If no one is able to talk, I'll then either start singing, or talk to myself.

But if any new series, or episodes for anything i like comes out (ie: Ghost in the Shell: arise, or Attack on titan atm) then I am all over that like  white on rice. And then I forget my issues due to the awesomeness of whatI just watched.

You got my general ideas of what relaxes me.

I also enjoy just having a really quiet day, as I enjoy the ambiance and atmosphere when the streets are quiet.

Along with watching whatever favorite or funny episode on T.V, cartoon, anime, or live action.

With just being with my friends online or outside is a great way of calming me down.

I tend to forgive and forget, as long as the situation is normal.

When ever I want to calm down or relax what ever the situation might be, I always turn to my bass guitar. It is one of the few things that's actually relaxing and fun to do over the summer. Plus, it is trully a beautiful instrument. I love it so much

A lot of strange things relax me. I actually put on heavy metal and stuff when I can't sleep for example. Rain, people's company, video games, working out. Normal stuff like that as well.

Pets. Music. If I am angry I like a good game of Robot Unicorn to work off the anger. It works strangely. Reading tends to destress me quite well too.

If something's got me worked up, typically listening to certain songs will do the trick. Mostly Caduceus USA and XD's Relic Shrine. I've also been known to run through scenarios in my head, allowing myself to think out both the consequences of actions, as well as provide the closure of "experiencing" my ideal course of action.

If nervous, not much can help. Praying and letting it pass, really.

  • Rainy, or stormy, weather
  • Cold weather of all kinds(preferably around forty degrees fahrenheit)
  • Reading a good book
  • Curling up in a blanket while playing a game
  • A gentle breeze blowing through leafless branches
  • Watching new episodes of MLP
  • Writing
  • Running, and climbing if something gets in my way

I almost forgot one: listening to the Trine soundtrack.

Feeling nice and fresh, it's raining slightly and my window's open, and I'm sitting in bed listening to some music or drawing or writing.
