I like how you said Super clocked for the i5 and not the EVGA Gtx 660. *winks* :3

The GTX 660 from EVGA can only come as super clocked. I can't find another card with different specifications of the same number.

I'm not overclocking my 660, I'm not going to get anything out of it.

I know, but you made a little mistake by saying the i5 was superclocked at its stock clock speed :3 *giggles*

And you can't really overclock a 660, a friend tested out, said it was horribly unstable.

I seen it myself too for the 660, you're not getting shit out of it. I'm just waiting for the high 800 series to come out. I see no point in upgrading every generation when a video card loses half it's retail value in 8 months. Also you can juice up and overclock your processing speed.

x3 yeah more or less. But people still hold on to the last generation cards just from how trustworthy they are~ Anyways, will they be making an 800 series, possibly against an 8000 series Radeon?

I have a Lenovo Y510p laptop.

Windows 8

i7-4700MQ

8 GB Ram

1 TB HD + 24 GB SSD

NVIDIA GeForce GT755M GDDR5 2 GB

& a 1080p Anti-Glare screen.

It's pretty bad-ass for a Sub-$1000 laptop..

This past November i bought a new laptop, a ASUS ROG G750JW

asus-rog-g750jh-1.jpg

Intel Core i7 4700HQ Processor

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M

16GB DDR3 1600

750GB HD

Windows 7

So far I'm loving it and I can render videos without any issues now compared to my old tower.

Only thing that sucks is that with the battery it's around 8 pounds so portability is not great.

I'd have spent an extra $25 and get an AMD FX 4130 quad core. FX are AMD's best cpus and if you've only got a specific budget and are just looking to game, they're a good option over Intel's core i3s i5s and i7s.

I've got a pretty decent HP for $600:

AMD quad core A10 5750 2.5 Ghz turbo boost to 3.5 Ghz cpu

8 gb ram

750 gb HDD

17.5" screen 1600x900 resolution

amd radeon 8660g gpu

It's pretty good for Minecraft, WoW and plays all my steam games generally flawlessly, I play a shitload of TF2

It probably wouldn't play CoD or BF3 on anything other than low or fair, though.

I was gonna build a gaming rig last month, but I decided to get a ps4 instead.

Meh, Athlon's are still good for quad core performance at good prices. Mine's actually this exact processor here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113288 only with it's graphics card removed.

If I got the Athlon x4 750k, it's actually read to be on par with the FX 4130 or so for $20 bucks cheaper.

Besides that, it's a pretty decent computer for its price. I'd also say you mean a 17.3 inch screen at 1600 x 900 and a Radeon HD 8650G for a Gpu.
