- Magical Mystery Cure, BEST EPISODE EVER!

- Putting Yur Hoof Down, it has some flaws, it's still an awesome episode.

- The Show Stoppers, the CMC were NOT acting stupid in this episode.

- Feeling Pinkie Keen, Very funny, great moral, and i loved how Twilight was acting.

- Ow's Well That Ends Well, great development for Spike and Twilight's relationship.

- It Ain't Easy Being Breezies, not the best episode, but not the worst.

- Rainbow Falls, it's not as bad as some people say.

The only episode I know for sure that everyone hates is MMDW. I mean, I dislike it as well, but I mean to say that whatever episodes I mention next I'm not really sure the fandom's opinion on them.

 

Putting Your Hoof Down - I didn't know until reading this thread that it was disliked

The pilot episodes - I've seen once or twice that people dislike it because of the different vibe they give off than the rest of the series - but I liked the feel of them

Magical Mystery Cure - nothing to say except I liked it

For me the top example has to be "Dragon Quest". I recognize that the episode is a complete disaster as far as MLP episodes usually go, but there's one thing they absolutely knocked out of the park that no other episode before or since has done; develop Spike's character. The complete change in tone from normal MLP episodes was also very interesting and enjoyable to watch and likewise hadn't really been attempted on that scale before or since.

Owl's Well That Ends Well - Spike actually got respect in the beginning, Owlowiscious proved himself a bad@$$ pet, and the green dragon was actually respectable.

 

The Mysterious Mare Do Well - The superhero s*** was awesome.

 

Putting Your Hoof Down - Iron Will. That is all.

 

Magical Mystery Cure - Rarity made the entire sky her b***h, and Twilight's ascension gave me Shining-Armor-style liquid pride.

 

Three's A Crowd - Discord, the Tatzlwurm, and Cadance's counter-trolling.

Oh, I'm gonna have fun with this one. Ahem.

 

The Crystal Empire: I recently rewatched this and found it much more enjoyable than I remember. Yeah, the climax is underwhelming, but there's a lot of funny and heartwarming moments. And, if you think about it, Sombra has done a lot more than most villains besides Tirek.

 

Daring Don't: "ZOMG, DASH IS A STEREOTYPICAL FANGIRL STALKER AND DARING DO IS REAL!" I like how it's hard for people to find stuff simply funny or cannot take something new found in the show cannon. This episode does a great job with representing what fans are like.
 

Equestria Games: "ZOMG, NOT ENOUGH GAMES! TOO MUCH SPIKE! SPIKE SUX!" Is this seriously a complaint. That's like a little kid crying over not getting what he wanted for Christmas. I like how Spike is finally not tortured and treated with respect. Also, if I wanted to watch a bunch of sports, I'd watch ESPN.

Magical Mystery Cure: "IT'S RUSHED, POINTLESS, AND TWILICORN!" And they completely ignore the great songs and all the heartwarming friendship moments.

 

Feeling Pinkie Keen: "IT'S TAKES A SIDE ON THE FACT VS. FAITH DEBATE!": Yet it is probably one of the top 10 funniest episodes of the whole show.

1. Magical Mystery Cure - I always wondered what would happen if the mane six switched cutie marks, evidently not good for Ponyville, but I admired the fact Twilight Sparkle Earned her alicorn princess status, plus this episode converted me into a brony.

 

2. Rainbow Falls - This episode has been ripped into worse than Equestria Girls, this perfectly showed the dilemma of loyalty, it is quite rare to see what consequences can arrive with loyalty, and Rainbow Dash was the right pony to depict that tough choice, we all make a some point in our lives.

 

3. Putting Your Hoof Down - Another episode with detractors, but I think it was interesting for Fluttershy to have an angry side, for she can be quite insipid if left to her normal depiction, I felt it added more layers to Fluttershy, and to remind us that even the kindest character can surprise you.

 

4. Dragon Quest - It was the first episode to star Spike by himself, the mane six were secondary characters, I suppose bronies have been incensed by the fact the ponies were reduced to the background, but like Putting Your Hoof Down, it added more layers to Spike.

 

5. Mysterious Mare Do Well - This was the first episode I ever saw, and started my path to becoming a brony, I thought Rainbow Dash was funny in this episode, proof that Rainbow Dash can be humorous.

 

6. Crystal Empire - Both parts, I was intrigued by this new location in Equestria, and Princess Cadence and Shinning Armour staring in a new episode, King Sombra was quite spooky too.

 

7. Spike at Your Service - Spike and Applejack were quite funny together, this episode was good for a laugh, this episode may have many analysts goading it, but I had a good time watching this hilarious interaction between the ponies and Spike.

 

Overall, I love all episodes of MLP-FiM, like Avatar the Last Airbender, the are many episode I love more than the rest, regardless of what popular opinion exists and persists.

I forgot to mention some episodes:

 

- Spike At Your Service, despite the fact that Spike was kind of out of character, the rest of the episode was awesome and the interactions between the ponies were really great. A very funny and enjoyable episode.

 

- The Crystal Empire, the episode was great, and Sombra was a cool villain who didn't need to talk to actually work, i don't know why people complain because he didn't do anyhting, because he did, and because the whole point of the episode was to prevent the disaster he could have caused, in instead of fixing it once the damage was done.

 

- Equestria Games, why did people want an episode just focused on the games? that would have been pretty boring because there wouldn't be an actual story, besides, Spike was great.

 

- Look Before You Sleep, it was a decent episode.

While Fluttershy's change is too quick--both times--I liked Pinkie's use of Looney Tunes shtick and hearing the voice of Mr. Satan Hercule as Iron Will. Even get a kick at hearing a remix of the opening notes of "Eye of the Tiger" during the seminar

 

Spike at Your Service

This of it as an Appejack episode and its miles better

 

Rainbow Falls

While there's a lot I dislike about this episode myself, I get a kick out of Road Rage and Derpy being unbanned

Spike At Your Service- Easily one of the funniest episodes ever. The Mane 6 were freakin phenomenal here.

 

Games Ponies Play- another funny episode, even if the resolution was terrible and poorly thought out, as Polsky admitted once. Rarity was beyond amazing here.

Daring Don't: While I preffered Daring Do to be a fictional character, or even when A.K. Yearling was young, I honestly did not care about the fact that she is real. Also, I kind of find RD's fangirling to be kind of cute.

Power Ponies: While I find it a shame to see self-parody of all things in MLP:FiM, I still got a kick out of the silly antics that the Mane 6 and Spike have to go through. Plus, the Mane-iac is too funny. x)

Equestria Games: Much like Daring Don't and Power Ponies, this episode has some glaring flaws, but at least Spike is treated with at least some respect.

 

I was going to say Rainbow Falls, but I keep on forgetting the flaws of that episode.

Keep Calm And Flutter On - While Discord's Heel-Face Turn did feel fast, we did get one or two prior hints that he wasn't full-on evil. Also, Celestia finally got one over on him by being able to ward the Elements from him.

Seriously, i still don't understand why some people say that Fluttershy never has development.

That's one of my favorite lines in the series.

Mmmmmmnope... Fluttershy is my Favorite Mane 6 and that is a fun episode... I like seeing characters get out of their character for once, it's fun.
