Have You Changed Your Favorite Mane 6 Pony Since You Started Watching?

At first, somewhat unusually among bronies, Rarity. I had read character descriptions on TV Tropes before though. Outside of her own episodes she was rather hit and miss in Season 2, which brought her down a peg.

 

Twilight was my second favorite during Season 1, but that was more due to a lack of competition. She's too familiar and thus too boring, though I always love her dorky moments!

 

I didn't like RD too much till "Hurricane Fluttershy". That immediately launched her up to a solid third in my list of favorite ponies. If Rarity doesn't have any great episodes this season, Rainbow Dash will go to 2nd.

 

AJ was near the bottom of my list till Season 2. I think I started really liking her with "Hearth's Warming Eve", and then with the friendship moral of The Last Roundup she cemented her status as best pony.

 

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy waver between 5th and 6th place depending on how good their latest episode was.

I seem to change Favorite ponies a lot. But right now It's sticking to where it is. When I first started watching first my favorite was Pinkie, and then it quickly turned to Rainbow Dash, then around the Failure Success song my favorite pony became Twilight Sparkle. With Rainbow/Applejack tied for second. Babs Seed, Derpy, Scootaloo, Rarity, these are all ponies who keep shifting into third place for me. Sometimes even tied for first. I just adore Scoot and Babs Seed.

I've always loved Applejack, but Twilight is a strong second. Don't really think I've changed or wavered on that. What I have done is have the others go up and down for third place, and that depends on the episodes - Rarity with the rock went up in my estimation, Pinkie in A Matter of Time rose up until some more silly episodes sank her back down, Fluttershy can rise or fall depending on whether I find her cute or nauseating, and Rainbow too depending on whether I see her as cool or as a pain in the ass.

Yes, several times. At first I didn't really have a favorite: I loved them equally.

Then I started liking Fluttershy more, that was before I joined the forums

Then shortly before I joined the forums, I started liking Rarity more.

I still love Rarity, but honestly, I think that I now like Pinkie more.

I haven't changed my favorite pony yet. From the start, it was Rainbow Dash who was my favorite, and she still is. Although Applejack is very close, but for now, Rainbow is still my favorite.

Actually, yes I have. Fluttershy used to be my favorite (go figure >.>), but then I switched over to Applejack. Haven't changed my favorite since then.

I've always liked Fluttershy and I have still not changed from liking her. If anything though I like Season 1 Fluttershy more than Season 2 Fluttershy. Just wish they would stop having scary Fluttershy every episode she is featured in, that's overdoned to death.

I watched the first "four" episodes in July or August 2011.

 

I became a serious fan in December 2011.

 

I probably liked Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash.

 

Around June of this year, Rarity became one of my favorite female fictional characters somehow.

My favorite since the beginning was Fluttershy because of her shy personality, she is EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL and she's super kind, then after seeing more of Rarity on season 1 and part of season 2. I started to feel more connected to her because of her personality which matches mine, she was my second favorite slightly behind Fluttershy. Then I joined the forums, I met this GREAT AWESOME friend THAT I LOVE DEEPLY which favorite pony was also Rarity, we talked about her all the time and then I finished watching season 2, and realized that Rarity's episodes were the best, she was hilarious and it felt refreshing seeing her on screen.

Since then, Rarity has been best pony for me, and she surpased Fluttershy greatly. I still love Fluts, and the rest of the mane6 (except Rainbow Dash) but Rarity stand out MUCH more than the rest.

 

 

funny thing. The first episode I watched was the second half of Sonic Rainboom and I thought that Rarity was the bitch character of the show.

i can safely say that mine have changed in the last couple days. fluttershy, rarity, pinkie pie, applejack, rainbow, twilight.  rainbow dash is really starting to annoy me these days.

Is Rainbow Dash and has always been Rainbow Dash. But Fluttershy moved up in my ranks a little bit (Sorry Twilight) Pinkie Pie is still at the bottom, right next to Applejack. Now before you try to decipher all of this let me just tell you...

Since I have had a a favorite Applejack has taken the top spot for me though Pinkie Pie takes a very close second and Twilight in third while I tend to switch back and forth on the others.

At first I was like "OMG RAINBOW DASH IS BEST PONY EVER!!" then with "Fall Weather Friends" I changed to AJ, then Twilight caught up with her and they were both my favorites. With the end of season 2 Rarity came out of nowhere and is now my favorite pony with AJ and Twi close second

Originally, I didn't really know who I liked, so, instead of choosing, I hopped on the bandwagon and picked the most common two-Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. I didn't mind them at first.

 

So, it was:

1. Rainbow

2. Pinkie

3. Twilight

4. AJ

5. Rarity

6. Fluttershy.

 

After Season Two, when I had matured, It changed drastically. I dropped three of the Mane 6 off the Mane 6, and these three and a few others are the only reason I watch the series:

 

1. Rarity

2. Twilight and AJ tie.

 

I only like a handful of others besides XD (GRANNY SMITTTTTH)

At first I was all Rainbow Dash. But then Fluttershy took my number one favorite pony of the Mane 6. In fact, so did Twilight!

Here is my order:

 

1. Fluttershy

2. Twilight

3. Rainbow Dash

4. Applejack

5. Pinkie Pie

6. Rarity

Nope. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy have always been 1 and 2 respectively. However, Twilight got bumped out of third place by Rarity during season 2, because she wasn't as sarcastic as she was in season 1.

No change for me either. It's been Applejack at #1 for me. After that it's been Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Rarity, and Pinkie. The last four can shift every now and then, but  Applejack and Fluttershy have pretty solidly secured their places now.
