What are Your Top Three Goals/Aspirations in Life?

In contrast to the "your top three fears in life" thread, what are some of your personal goals? Some of my aspirations include working with little children, linking psychology and computer science to somehow better understand human beings and their behavior (somehow helping improve people's lives), and finally  to find a permanent cure for diseases namely cancer.  Both of my grandparents are very old and age and both have cancer my grandfather has prostate cancer, and my grandmother has bone marrow cancer.  I want to rid the world of all unfortunate diseases for everyone including myself.  Though it is not certain that I will actually get cancer, the chance of me actually getting cancer is higher if both of my grandparents have it.

Well, I won't go TOO in depth with my goals, but I will be happy to share them:

 

1: Be an animator director  -_- 

 

2: Attend to college  

 

3: Travel the world (And get my very first car)

1) Learn the guitar and become a musician, either as a hobby or maybe something more.

 

2) Finish flight school with either an ATP rating or aerobatic endorsement, and become either an airline pilot or stunt pilot.

 

3) Contribute something of value to the world.

 

....4) Sum total: Just be fulfilled.

my goals constantly change but the three things that i know i want in life are as follows

You gotta be a youtuber to do that.  People like Pewdiepie, Cry (aka ChaoticMonki), Toby Turner (Tobuscus), etc... are actually being payed by youtube (indirectly from different companies that want to post ads on youtube), to play games because so many people watch their channels.  A lot of them are actually making tons of money.

Actually I kinda discovered I wanted to join the circus quite recently.

My dad took me to see Totem (A cirque du soleil show) And I thought it was amazing, It just blew my mind.

So when I got home, I researched circus acts and stuff, Then I came across Aerial silks which fascinated me...And that's how I got interested in it

No when I write to be published it will be a book on the dangers of theology and Christianity. I will be competing in Swimming at the 2016 Olympic games, in the events the 100 and 200 meter butterfly, the 400 individual medley  and the 50 meter freestyle... Maybe the 400 meter medley relay if I can

Though I have not actual seen it myself, my mother went to Totem and she said she was literally blown away.  When it comes to money my mom doesn't spend extra when she really doesn't need to, but she bought an $11 cup because she was quite frankly speechless.... I wish I had gone.

Well, I do something called Fire Poi...Which Personally I think is a good start. But I have never really done any time of acrobatics...So it will be tough to learn but I won't let that stop me

Whoa that's seriously dangerously awesome. Super-ultra-extreme-awesomazing to be exact.    I couldn't do it, though i have the coordination and everything i'd probably just not be paying attention slip and i'd be one roasted marsh-mellow.

1. Become a psychologist. I plan to intern at a hospital's psych ward. then go to college with a resume filled with FFA and entrepreneurship, how could they not accept me?

 

2. Find a little brother or sister. I've been an only child all my life and I see my friends mistreat their sibling and I just want someone who will want to be like me, want me to throw 'em around and play with 'em.

 

3. Collect. My father started his collection out of underground trading cards and comics (we had the very first scoobydoo comic, back when it was surrounded by weed. But it was lost, along with spiderman issue #1). We've also got some 20 year old hot wheels and such. I'm continuing it with video games. I've already got a pretty good collection going.

1. To get to the level of near being professional as a bassoon player, performer, and musician overall. There's a lot more to this goal than there appears to be, and that's why it's number one for me. It's about proving to myself (only to myself) that I am adequate, and that I can achieve something if I put my mind to it. Also, performing is very rewarding.

 

#2 and #3 would be related to atheism (and the separation of church and state) or LGBT rights. I'd love to somehow end up doing something that would have a large positive effect on the future of both. That's really a pipe-dream, I know. Especially since I will never be able to be an open atheist IRL for my family. Of all of the selfish things I have done, it's the least I can do really.

My three life goals are as follows:

 

-Become Rich

I can do a lot of good with some money. I want this less for me and more because I couldn't do the second thing without accomplishing this. It doesn't matter how I accomplish this, not in my eyes at least.

 

-Help those less fortunate than myself

I just want to help out those less fortunate than me. It pains me when people suffer. I have always been sensitive in this sense, and I'll do anything and everything I can to help those in need. We need more people to help those who suffer, and if I have the opportunity to fill that role and help, I'll do it without thinking about it. I grew up in a fairly poor family and I know what it's like to have nothing. I'd like others to have the opportunity to climb up in life as I have.

 

-Make as many people happy before I die as possible

I don't matter. i just want people to be happy. I don't care if I'm happy or not as long as I can make other people happy. Seeing people smile is one of my favorite things. I just want to help people. I feel incredibly guilty when I cause someone to be upset. I'd like others to be happy because being happy is something that everyone should have a chance to do in life.

 

I don't mind being forgotten when I die as long as I've made other people's situation better. 

 

 

Those are my goals. Nothing too simple, nothing too complex.

I'd say those are my current three main ambitions in life, though I have many more I would like to accomplish between and after these.
