What's Your Internet Speed?

I live out in the middle of nowhere, and it stinks to high heaven.  CenturyLink (formerly Qwest, formerly US West, formerly AT&T) keeps thinking that changing their name is a better solution than fixing my problem.  Grrr.

1.2mb/s down, 76 Kb/s up. My phone's download is slower but it uploads twice as fast. I use CenturyLink DSL for my desktop and t-mobile 4g for my phone.

I wish my download speed was at least a third as good as the upload speed but my tuition covers this so I'll take what I can get.

Slow!

 

Rogers sucks. Nobody is downloading anything, and I am the only person accessing our wifi. I also get 25 GB of bandwidth a month. House wide.

There are numerous third-party web pages have been designed to test your Internet connection speed.I used to check my internet sped in this site Scanmyspeed.com   and i posted my results below
Download speed : 18 mbps
upload speed  :5.4 mbps

It used to be 1mbps, then they raised it to 2 and finally to 3Mbps... Ain't that good? :3 For 15 buck a month, I guess it is. I also like the upload speed.

What does it mean when your computer fails the speed test? Just kidding, but I'm pretty sure my internet is among the worst.

EDIT: Better results when no one else at the house is online. (Moved from an F to an F+!)

Download Speed: 18.89 Mbps
Upload Speed:0.795 Mbps.
I got this results from ScanMySpeed.com
