There is just so much that seems like this episode will be involved with, yet it's still only 44 minutes! Either they're slamming a lot of awesome into this time frame, or some scenes are from different episodes.

Regardless, it seems like we'll be at least touching the past. Both Nightmare Moon's initial rise, and Discord's reign. I am so excited.

The part with Discord being stoned must be when Celestia and Luna originally used the Elements on him. That's most likely where the song that we keep being rumored about is from.

 

After all Discord is in a pose that looked like he was singing, And we've been confirmed that Discord does have a song this season so I'm placing my bets there.

Well, before This promo, I was excited for s4. Unfortunatly I am no longer excited. Just look at it, there's no way anything in this promo would make me excited.

 

 

 

 

Because Excited just doesn't cut it anymore. There's no words to describe other than: HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP!!! I THINK I JUST CRAPPED MY PANTS FROM THE INSANE AWESOMENESS!!!

One (perhaps unrealistic) hope I have is now that they've satisfied Hasbro's toy cravings for the time being and the fanbase is at its peak that they have the freedom to go completely bonkers in season 4, where they can do any story, any relationship, any setting, any joke without worrying about Hasbro's vote of confidence.

 

The promos for the season opener make it look like a full-blown action spectacle (and Hasbro knows it). That makes me optimistic that their creative juices are still very much intact.

I agree. Hyping things up can be quite dangerous and could backfire on them if it doesn't meet our expectations. Though I have my doubts; I'm sure that many people will enjoy the episode mainly because it's just more ponies.

No, they're just packing it all in this month it seems. Besides, it's been ages since the last pony episode, even if they weren't doing all this promotion we'd all be hyped anyways(and starving). Besides, I'd certainly say they're not overdoing it, imo at least.

Well, it was already known for a while that she was getting one.

Still, it's awesome to have some official PR hype for it like this- I'm not sure which I'm more excited for, the premiere or her episode!

I think it's real, but who knows what it actually means. Based upon the synopsis for episode 3, I think, Celestia appears to be around, unless it's a memory or her spirit directing Twilight.

Out of nowhere I just became filled with a sudden burst of energy at the thought of season 4 starting up in 5 or so days. I don't have to work Sundays any more so I can stream it at 1:30AM and don't have to go to bed straight after. Instead I can stay up and discuss it with you guys. So damn excited!
