So according to Brony Curious the writer for Castle Mane-ia admitted that the shadow at the end of the episode means nothing. It was simply a nod to Scooby Do. It's likely all the ending gags are meaningless too.

I honestly didn't think any of the "cliffhangers" we've had so far in S4 - except for the box - were going to be referenced later on.

 

I mean, they could be, but I don't expect them to be. Won't be disappointed if they aren't.

I'm big on continuity too, but only when it makes sense. Those last minute things never really struck me as important.

These cliffhanger gags are starting to be a pattern here.

 

I'm sure now every episode will have one. Now the hardest part is picking up the pieces Abe figure out thier future effects if they were to appear again.

 

And yes im talking more about Rarity's Rainbow Thread......it seems too important based on the flash she had earlier. I think it has to be connected to the keys in some form.

What the heck...

'Rainbow Power' must be what happens when a pony's power level goes over 9000.

After seeing that rainbow thread in the last episode though, along with the box, not to mention the brief flash of crystal forms last season, I could definitely see these forms appearing this season somehow.

Knowing Twilight she might decline special treatment. I don't know but if everyone starts bowing to her it might feel weird but yeah I hope the box is at least mentioned again....at this point it's all but forgotten.

 

 

And since we're on the subject what does everyone think this week's "cliffhanger" will be?

I can't help but think back to the "Boast Busters" episode where Twilight was so concerned with trying to keep herself from performing magic and being considered a showoff like Trixie. In the end she learned that it was ok to be proud of her talents and that there are times when to show them off, especially in the case of defending her friends- which does make me wonder why she didn't put that lesson learned to use in "Rarity takes manehattan" to assist Rarity, show everypony that she's an alicorn princess and has some level of authority now, and get her friend that cab. But in Equestria Girls, Twilight states that she feels self conscious about wearing her crown in public; and that just because she now has a crown and wings that she doesn't feel like she'll make a good leader. In "Princess Twilight Sparkle part 1", Rarity comments Twi's given up wearing her crown all the time, but she might as well embrace her new title, and Twi comments "if other ponies want to address her as a princess, she supposes its fine", so that could be what's hindering her from throwing her alicorn status and princess title around in season 4; she's still not completely comfortable with showing off and being addressed by her ascended state.

Man, all I can really get out of these is that 'Twilight Time' will have something to do with Twilight... reading the comments on that second link though taught me that breezies were something from a previous MLP generation apparently.

Just something the Hub tweeted for this weeks episode. I think this is one of my most anticipated episodes mainly because of the song and to see if AppleJack and Pinkie Pie is actually related to each other
