The "other" gender?  It's a catchall.  One of my acquaintances is a FTM transgendered person.  If M or F are the only options, he will choose M.  But if other is available, he will select that.  That's just him and I'm sure different people have different opinions on what they would choose.

22 and a mare/female. I know a few bronies who are at or younger than me, and I met someone at the supermarket who is 27. So, you do get to meet bronies of all ages, actually, but the average age I've seen so far is 21.

Wow, I was actually expecting an older average age than that. Maybe between 18 and 25. Interesting... though I was expecting a larger number of males than females.

I remember when I first heard about Bronies, I checked them out on YouTube in 2012, and the ones who had to defend themselves were very old men. One in particular, a 45 year old at the time, Brony from Australia were quite verbose about the "tattoos" on the Ponies flanks.

But for the forum, I think most members were kids when they watched the show, and now are adults.
