What do you do when you listen to music?

I'll usually surf the web or look at stuff in my room as I listen to music. I also tend to make slight body movements if the song is really catchy. Sometimes I'll just sit there and listen to the song, but most times I find something to do to accompany the music.

I usually listen to electronic music Kraftwerk-style or Classical music. And when I do I usually draw something... music gives me inspiration to draw ^^

I'm either browsing the internet eg. internet forums and social websites, playing video games or having an IM chat with someone.

 

I also listen to music frequently on car journeys because it's relaxing and helps pass the time.

What happens is i'll just be playing normally doing stuff and then the bassdrop comes along.

1) Driving (listening to music is a MUST because its boring listening to a car engine without an aftermarket exhaust system)

2) Working out at the Gym

3) Drawing (My drawings somehow don't come out the way I want them to without music)

4) Riding my bike

5) Singing along to some songs

6) At work

7) Just chilling in my room

I listen to all types of music. Here's what I do when I'm listening to a few of them.

 

Dubstep: Head-banging, jamming out and rocking to the beat occurs when I listen to this.

 

Instrumentals: I pretend I am actually playing the instruments.

 

Rock: Air guitar all the way.

 

Trance: Fall asleep. In a good way.

It depends on which type of music.

 

If it's a song with a fast beat, deep bass and such (Hadouken! - Mecha Love is a great example) I just disappear and it gives me a "rush".

 

If it's house, I just feel awesome and happy.

If I'm not playing the game or doing something that would a little more focus than usual, then I usually find myself bopping my head or doing a sort of dancey sway from side to side. If I'm really into it then I also starting sing along (sometimes with a makeshift mic XD) and, if I'm absolutely in love with the song and really feeling it, I get up and dance a bit (after making sure the door is locked or no one is home  ).

If the song is more of a orchestral piece, then I might start doing a little air conducting on the really moving parts. That doesn't happen all that often though.

 

I walk aimlessly around in my own home. It's a weird habit, but I tend to do so. If I'm not at home, I just bang my head a bit while doing these kind of movements with my right hand, like a rapper would :V

 ^ Oh, and this too, though that's a bit rarer for me.

Depends on what I feel like doing, but being a band kid in marching band I'll normally keep the beat with my foot, because marching to rhythms does that to you.

 

I also sometimes tap on something for drum beats. And I sometimes hum, or even sing along.

 

Sometimes I'm busy doing something, or I just relax though.

I usually bop my head to the beat, dance around, sing along, beatbox a little bit, tap my fingers, I very rarely pretend to play air instrument ( I don't like it, I don't like when someone does that :/ ) I have no problem with the fact If someone is watching or not.

I very often PvP and PvE to the beat ^^ it helps in your performance. I like to listen music freely in my house, doing some chores, making breakfast, coffee or something like that. Then it has to be load, gives me lots of energy throughout the day

I usually just hum the song that I'm listening to, sometimes i whisper the lyrics. I also ten to tap my foot to the rythm if, I don't know sometimes I do sometimes I don't. Depends on the song. If I'm bored then i make hand movements or something.... I never dance to it unless I'm alone. Like completely alone.
