movies/tv What first comes to mind when you think of Disney?

I was thinking about this for a minute and thought what people's opinion was.

The first thing(s) that come to my mind when I think of Disney is:

Pretty much the Disney Renaissance

Aladdin (1992)

Beauty and the Beast (1991)

Little Mermaid (1989)

Lion King (1994)

And also Pinocchio (1940), this one was a tear-jerker to me.

I almost forgot Kingdom Hearts, this is what gave me more fuel for my Disney love!

What comes to your mind whenever Disney is mentioned? (And for gods sake, don't say anything like, "Oh, that stupid live action garbage on Disney Channel?", or whatever, I've heard enough hate for that... I understand why people hate it, but that's enough hearing about it.)

I'm an AP at Disneyland! I was even there yesterday! The first thing I think of is the parks, then, of course. I've been to every Disney park in America, and have seen Tokyo Disneyland, but never been inside. img-1927374-2-sad.png

Disney? Well I think of all the times I tried to avoid it as a kid. Really didn't like it, all that singing and stuff. It seems I'm banned from mentioning the cheesy Disney show channels but that comes to mind super quickly.

My favorite Disney movie, by far; and one of the most highly underrated of all time, if you ask me. I can't have anyone bring that company up in a conversation without mentioning this fantastic film.

With all honesty, this scene from Yugioh Abridged immediately comes to mind...

But let's do this right; these are the FILMS that immediately come to mind when I hear "Disney" (mostly summed up by the word "childhood"):

- The Lion King

- Toy Story

- Finding Nemo

- The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The only one of these that wasn't really a part of my childhood was the Hunchback. I was too scared to watch it when I was young, some of the imagery really scared me. I watched it a few years ago and my fears were justified for all the right reasons. Frolo is easily one of the best Disney villains ever, the imagery is brilliant and the story is surprisingly dark for a kids film. I'm glad I watched this later, I think I appreciate the film a lot more as an adult than I would have as a kid.

I was watching this a few times a while ago! I love it!

It sure was another tear-jerker right from Disney itself!

It was forever since I saw it the first time, but now I have grown to appreciate it more!

This is what I think of when I hear 'Disney':

But that's just indicative of my age.

My favorite Disney movies?

Robin Hood (animated)

The Fox and The Hound

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

But then, indicative of age.

I freaking love Disney!  When I think of Disney, sometimes I think of my favorite animated films, other people's favorite Disney movies, or I just think about how much I love animation in general, as it's my favorite art form.

My top 5 Disney movies:

1. The Fox and the Hound

2. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

3. Bolt

4. A Goofy Movie

5. Aladdin

Also, my favorite movie is The Brave Little Toaster, though that wasn't technically made by Disney.

There's a few things.

1. Cinderella's dress scene. I loved it because of the sparkles and it's still really well known. It stood out the most to me. smile.png

2. Tinkerbell stuck in the drawer, because sparkles... (I like sparkles) and I loved Tink as a kid. :)

Disney?
Isn't that the company that makes pornos for little children?
Also, this:

Not my favourite Disney movie, but it's just something that symbolizes the company for me, for some odd reason.<
When I think of the word "Disney", Lion King always pops into my mind.

When I think about Disney, I directly think about characters such as donald duck, mickey mouse and some of the old ones you have posted above.

Anyways, there is also one certain thing that I always think about when I hear "Disney". And that is this:

This (just a part) of an episode in a tv show disney had which shows a bunch of clips from different movies as christmas cards. (The episode is a christmas ep).

Now you might wonder why. Well, here in Sweden, we have this tradition to aaaalways watch that on christmas. (However it is a modified version with additional clips like donald duck in the jungle, robin hood, mickey mouse goes camping, ferdinand the bull) It really is a tradition. It has been shown eeeeevvverrryyyy single christmas on tv ever since 1960 and it's still going. Ask any swede, everyone have seen that. But yeah, that's probably why I think of that when I hear disney :P

The Lady and the Tramp. I really liked it when I was a kid, especially since it was one of the few Disney movies that I owned back then.

Oh, and the Lion King too. 'Hakuna Matata' comes to mind pretty easily tongue.png

Everything. My mind doesn't really discriminate when it comes to Disney except that I only watch animated stuff and play games for them. I'm a gigantimongous Kingdom Hearts fan too. It wasn't the Disney that got me into the series though. I actually think the KH series would be amazing if they took the Disney out but I digress... tongue.png
