Honestly, I don't know which one to vote for.

 

I can appreciate the depth and complexity of Rarity's character, without a doubt, but then there is Discord....who's freaking Discord.

 

....huh. I'm surprisingly undecided.

I can appreciate the depth and complexity of Rarity's character, without a doubt, but then there is Discord....who's freaking Discord.

Wasn't Discord one of Celestia's arch enemies for the longest time? :D

 

Rarity works for Celestia as a bearer of an Element of Harmony - she protects Celestia's kingdom :D

 

Choice is obvious, vote fabulosity ;)

You both make valid points.

 

It's not the first time, however, that appeals to my love for Celestia and pointing to Discord's record have been used in an attempt to persuade me. I am capable of looking past Discord's records, seeing as how he made up for his transgressions.

 

Rarity is fabulous, though I don't know if I'd actually enjoy being in her company, personally.

 

It's a difficult decision.

Screw it, I will go for Rarity. Why? Because HYPNOSIS. And ifDiscord's hypnosis is better than Rarity's starry eyes of Fabulousness, then I don't know what to believe but MAAAAAAGIIIIIIC.

Well, should I overlook the 300 pages since I joined in this undertaking? I suppose I will regardless.

 

This is essentially a popularity contest among My Little Pony characters adapted to coincide with the World Cup format used by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (a.k.a. FIFA). The FIFA World Cup tournament spans 3.5 years of international football (soccer) matches, starting with over 200 national teams (while THIS tournament started with 128 MLP characters). Rather than scoring goals, characters have advanced through each round of competition via acquiring votes from us forum users.

FIFA WC: Spans 4 years (the 2014 WC in Brazil started Qualifiers in Fall 2010)

MLPF WC: Spanned 7 months (the Qualifiers started in December 2013)

MLPF: 128 (Dec 2013-Jul 2014 season)

She owns a donkey?  Is this canon?

Can somepony show this picture of her donkey with diamonds on it?  If it's fabulous enough I'll switch my vote!   (but it has to really look like a donkey)

I voted for the most beautiful creature in Equestia. For kind and generous soul, someone who not only gives materialistic gifts to her friends freely, but also sacrifices chances in her career for them freely.

A pony that wants everypony to be beautiful like she is, that does not hoard her gorgeousness, but is willing to share it with everyone.

I voted for an true artist, full of passion and vision, that loves her work, but loves her friends even more.

 

I voted for the Element of Generosity.

 

I voted for a true Rarity.
