I’m genderqueer. Physically I’m a stallion, but usually Ah think ’bout myself as a mare. It’s weird for most some people I know, but I’m personally fine with my physical gender and see no problem in this divergence as I don’t need to change my sex or whatever.

I like the way you think.

Like, myself for example. I really don't identify under the binary, but I'm so on board with this hormone therapy thing because my body really isn't going in a way I feel comfortable with. I literally am so antsy on when I am going to do this, but I'm not going to be really girly, as I'm not trying to fill the stereotype of man or woman, but to represent my own identity.

Gender identity is such a loose term relative to how others define their gender.

First off, thank you for that comic!~ I will now use it everywhere that I can.

I've spent a long time in the ether of going back and forth on my gender. I identified as completely trans for a period of my life, then "got over it", then it came back and I was like "what the fuck am I? 9efh69e.png"

So needless to say, I've done a lot of reading trying to understand myself and others that don't identify inside the binary. Just looking at your profile I think it's awesome that MLPF has gender options for Male, Female, Other and Not Specified. The inclusion of Other as well as allowing you to skip specifying just makes everything feel more inclusive and more open-minded. I hate sites where I am required to pick Male or Female. It's like "bitch, you don't know me. You're just trying to pick which ads your sponsors are going to show me which I'm gonna block anyways."

Sorry. Off-topic. I'm stoked for you for wanting to go ahead with the hormone thing. I hear it's a bumpy ride, but can be one of the most relieving feelings in the world. Hope that if and when you do decide to go forward that it's everything you need it to be Kwlfezr.png

Yeah, my body can no longer express my gender. Either that, or it never could and I simply refused to acknowledge as such. I did various acts of public androgyny such as this: http://i.imgur.com/UX5M7cC.png but it just can't do what I need it to do. I'm 20, my hair is already beginning to thin, and I need to take control of my own body. I'm not going to try and come off as what a man or a woman should be, and I have no intention to.

Gender is totally about presentation. But I shouldn't have to spend one to two hours and fear getting dirty to express who I am. I might be doing the hormone thing soon, but I'm not going to sport makeup. Or only a little when I feel like it (probably fancy artistic eye makeup because I am that type of a person). In the case that I still have a little facial hair, I may not even care. So long as I make a real permanent change. I'm probably still going to wear guy clothes, but it'll be all over the place.

I told myself going into college that I would express my own individual gender identity, aside from man or woman. And I am going to do that. I have done various things to see what works. I tried in my first year, ended up looking like a stereotypical gay man, which is icky gross no thanks. Second year, I did that makeup stuff, which in retrospect is just too much work. And I'm going about now very masculine in physical appearance, but it's just... wrong.

Doing this gives me hope. Perhaps under a slim chance out of this I could find people to be close with.

And if you want to know who wrote that comic, his name is Elias Ericson.

I was born a male. I am a normal, upstanding male citizen. Who just happens to have a SHITLOAD of female qualities. I will procreate with a female, as per my job as a male human, but my emotions are so erratic and borderline "girly", that if I wasn't totally sure I was a male, I would probably think I was a female. There is a serious chemical imbalance in my brain and frankly if I didn't have male reproductive organs people would think I'm a girl. Seriously. Well I mean the beard is a dead giveaway that I'm a guy but... that's not the point. I am a man. Who thinks like a girl. Yeah.

What if you're a Girl (not transgender) but are bisexual?

Sexuality has nothing to do with gender identity.

I'm a cis female, which means I was born female and I identify as female.

  • 4 weeks later...

I tend to think of myself as a girl.

I was born a girl. I don't mind being a girl. I'm good at being a girl... kind of.

But I have male tendencies too. And I feel male at times.

Both.

I figure I'm either demigendered or genderfluid. I can't tell if I'm genderfluid and leaning towards female, or if I'm actually demigendered like I originally thought and society and the way people react to gender identities makes me feel like I should only identify with my female side, at least to save my self from causing confusion and getting into long discussions about it.

If my parents knew I was like this... yeesh. That'd be an interesting chain of events.

I was born as one of the male persuasion and have always considered and accepted myself as such.  ;)

I'm not a man, or machine, I'm just somethin' in between...

In all seriousness, I am a red blooded American, 100% straight, guy.

My gender is a teenage boy (known as a "male"), no such calling as a "bigender" or "transgender".

I was born female but I identify as a male.  I hope to make the outside look like what I feel on the inside, I can't stand all this female stuff anymore.  As of right now, I don't pass very well, or at all.  I wanted to keep my hair long but it gives me away far too easily from behind or people are just jerks and assume everyone with long hair is female :okiedokielokie:.  Heck, I wouldn't even mind the excess body hair, even though most guys in my family aren't very hairy in the first place.
