Has anybody ever cried while watching or doing pony related stuff?

No, I don't think so... at least not while watching the show. I do remember feeling really sad after reading the fanfic "Yours Truly", although I don't remember crying.

I can get a bit emotional at times. Not full on, red eyed, tissue blowing crying but I do shed a few tears. I cried at the end of Sleepless in Ponyville, when we get to see Dash's soft side. Celestia's Ballad and Twilight's speech at the end of magical mystery cure had me in tears as well. As for fan works, I cried during My Little Dashie. That's about it.

I did cry when I saw Scootaloo being bullied over her inability of flight, it did make me hate Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon even more.

Cheerile's Garden was brutal on my feels. My Little Dashie made my heart throb but I didn't shed a tear. My girlfriend sobbed like a baby though.

 

The hardest I've cried was this one Fallout Equestria fic I read years ago. I can't remember the name but it was about a little colt who's parents got sold into slavery and had to live on his own and the fic was a "final goodbye" to Equestria. The fic ended with something like "After he finished the note, he set it next to his withered body. He breathed in his final breath, said his final prayer, and drifted into long-awaited peace"

I cry way too easily over way too many things, but with pony it's rare; then again, I tend to focus on happy/cute/lovely things when it comes to pony and kinda avoid most other stuff most the time.  Though if there's one 'negative emotion' I actually like to indulge in now and then, it's sad/sappy stuff.  Still, though... I dont' really go out of my way looking for sad pony stuff though once in awhile it finds me.  A lot of it's given me lumps in my throat but not a whole lot has actually made me cry... except, from what I can recall:

 

Things that've made me shed a tear, or come very VERY close to it (watery eyes etc), include:

 

 - Twi weeping halfway through Winter Wrap-Up;

 - Pinkie's "bubble being burst" halfway through Party of One;

 - Rarity tearing up and putting a hoof on Spike's mouth in Secret of My Excess (just a little, but it got me);

 - Fluttershy being driven to tears in Hurricane Fluttershy; 

 - Pinkie's sad return home in Pinkie Pride;

 - Pinkie receiving the news that her friends don't like her sister in Maud Pie;

 - The ooooold old old short fanfic "Bubbles" (I haven't read many fics over the years at all, or else I'm sure there'd be more here)

 

I feel like I'm forgetting some but for now there ya go.

I have never even been close to crying because of the show.

 

Really, it's not worth crying over most of the time. There are things in life that are far sadder than MLP. The only things associated with the fandom that I think are acceptable to get teary over would be My Little Dashie or Snowdrop.

And yes, I cried.

Alot.

I have never been broken like this before. Ever.

It was just that last little bit that really made me cry, the bits before made me cry a little bit.

She walked up to the bars and tried her best to see the clock that was at the end of the hall. She squinted when she saw it and read the time. Nine forty-five. She nodded and sat back down on the bed. It was time.

Within ten minutes, a trio of guards walked up to her cell and opened it. She looked at them, nodded, and walked out of the cell to her fate.

The walk to the execution room seemed to go very quickly for Rarity. She hardly had any time to register the fact that this would be the last time that she ever got to walk again. She would be carried out of the room when it was over.

The lead guard opened the door and Rarity saw a table with restraints on it as well as a tray with a single syringe on it. Rarity walked up to the table and lied down on it, not even bothering to try any form of resistance.

As the guards strapped her in, Rarity looked to her right and saw a large window behind which was another room. In the room were Sweetie Belle, her parents, Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Scootaloo. Each of them had a solemn look on their face. Sweetie Belle put a hoof on the glass as if trying to reach out to Rarity one last time.

“Any last words?” asked one of the guards. Rarity remained silent and the guard picked up the syringe.

Rarity felt the small prick as the needle went into her skin. She flinched slightly as the cold liquid went into her veins, numbing the limbs where it spread. Slowly Rarity turned her head to see her sister and stared deeply into Sweetie Belle’s eyes. She smiled at her one last time and began singing to her.

“Hush now, quiet now, it’s time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now, it’s time to go…”

 

 

Woah, I gotta read this. The feels must be powerful there.

Well, I don't really tear up at all when I watch MLP, but some parts do get me a little choked up. Particularly in really sad scenes like this one:

Some sad pony related music, animations and fan fictions have made me tear up a little...what I can remember is Snowdrop, Fallout Equestria, and Past Sins. The only episode that ever made me cry was Hurricane Fluttershy but some other ones have gotten close.

When Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon picked on Scootaloo about her inability to fly

In Canterlot Wedding when Shining Armor chews out Twilight when she accused Cadence of being evil

And that scene in part 2 of the first episode of season 1 when Celestia asks for a restored Luna to accept her friendship

 

I've got lots of others I could put but it would be too many LOL!

I can get emotional while consuming media, though. When I get "the feels," I experience chills through my spine.

I cried a lot during Magical Mystery Cure... Especially during A True True Friend. I felt kind of sad after the first time watching it...

I've also cried a few times during fananimations and fanfics. In this case Donut Steel. (Just kidding. :3)

 

EDIT: Yeah. I forgot season five. It has made me cry 4 times already... (Castle Sweet Castle, Bloom and Gloom, Tanks For The Memories, Amending Fences... Yeah, they're doing something right over there... ;-; )

Nope, nothing pony-related has made me cry. I never found much point feeling saddened over something fictional anyways, especially if it's about something as saccharine as ponies. Then again, fiction in general has never made me cry.
