My freshman year in highschool is a time I look back on very fondly. For many reasons. But here are the main four:

-I met the person who, to this day, is one of my two closest friends and artistic collaborators.
-I had a very good English teacher; I don't remember many of the lessons from my 4 years in highschool. But hers, I remember to this day.

-It was the first year I seriously began to take films and filmmaking seriously as an art form (that's what the artistic collaboration part refers to)

-I got my first girlfriend that year.

Goodness, when I was a freshman in highschool, some of the members of this forum were preschool/kindergarten aged! For those in highschool or junior high now: cherish every second and don't waste any time.

  • 2 weeks later...

I guess it'd have to be 5th grade for me

I had become friends with these 2 girls, and then they were friends with these 3 guys

so I actually had my own little group of friends

we all had similar interests and were considered "geeks"

I remember us running around at recess, pretending we were pokemon

hated school.

Seriously, I was glad to finally graduate.

My favorite year was the year after I graduated, because you know, no more school. ^^

Elementary school actually wasn't that bad now that I think of it.

I'm going with.........3rd grade? ^^"

Sure, okay! That works. ^^

3rd grade is it then! ^^

I hated all of it, every single second was just awful. Adults kept telling me it was the best time of my life. If that was the best life has to offer then I'm not sure how interested I am in living.

I was constantly bullied, and teased, I even got beat up once or twice. The teachers were terrible, almost every single teacher I've ever had has talked in monotone.

I hated the literature they made us read. I hated having to wake up early, I hated having to go to bed early. I just hate having a strict schedule in general. I don't mean to whine, but it just plainly sucked.

Twilight is best pony.

Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to?

9th. My Narcolepsy hadn't fully kicked in yet, so I could stay awake in class easier.

I was also a lot closer to certain people back then. I guess I could still call them friends, but sadly it's just not the same anymore.

Senior year in high school. By that time, I had completely come out of my shell and decided to just be my crazy self and I was much happier.

However... Graduation couldn't have come sooner.

Oh I cannot agree with you more......:D

I was like that throughout my entire high school year.   Too much drama, clique, bullying, and discrimination (yes.....discrimination everypony).  So yeah........didn't have too many friends.....no, tbh, I had NO friends in high school, but that didn't stop me from pursuing my ambition in IT as well as VA'ing.
