Fluttershy, though what I like the most about her remains a mystery to me. Is it because she was the first pony to make an impression on me decent enough for me to consider watching the show? Maybe because I can relate to her, and her successes mean a lot to me as it does for her? Could it be her general all-around cuteness, that makes me want to break through the TV screen and join her in eternal hugs? Her innocence? Her care? Her hair?

For three whole seasons I had no favorite, the six were all amazing in their own ways.

 

Then season 4 came around and killed off half the cast. Pinkie is dead. Twilight is dead. AJ and Fluttershy are cheap imitations of their former selves. Dash is... kind of a lost cause. Rarity, though not unscathed, is the only one who has remained appealing through that awful season. That's why she's my favorite by default.

fluttershy, since her love of nature and animals just really really reminds me of myself/someone i would be good friends with. pinkie pie follows as a very close second though just because i like her character - and also shes really extroverted and bubbly like me

It nearly killed me to choose between Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy. Heck, it nearly killed me to choose a favorite from the main six. Period.

 

Luna is definitely my favorite pony overall, but when considering background ponies, I like Vinyl, Derpy, and Octavia the most.

I'm surprised Celestia hardly got many votes. I just find Luna has more of a fandom because well, she was never given much attention from Celestia, and shes hardly shown on the show.(I'm aware that Bronys/Pegasisters may just like Luna's character traits and style) But Celestia is one of those sisters who can forgive Luna even though she tried to take over, Celestia gave Discord a second chance and that's the whole reason why Discord is one of the best characters on the show. Most people give hate onto Celestia due to she is old in our years, but in pony years that could be just an adult. Or another reason is why she talks too much, and is shown too much, and etc. But without Celestia, the show may have never be as good, Discord would stay stone, Luna would have taken Equestia, Etc, and Celestia has even saved Bronys/Pegasisters from depression, and sadness. I am not putting hate onto Luna, I like Luna with my own reasons, and everyone has their own option to hate something/one or like something/one. Its just my honest option.

I like Twilight because she is the smartest of the Mane 6 (well, IMO) and her love of books, but I'd say Fluttershy is definitely my favorite. She is the cutest and there are just so many things I share in common with her

Hmm... This is too hard. I like Discord. Also I've kept Pinkie as fave pony from the beginning. But the ones I can most relate to are Twilight, Dash, and Apple Bloom. (or at least I can get in character to them best) I also like Fili-Second and Private Pansy but they don't quite count.

This is a little hard to pick a favorite. But if I had to pick, I would pick Pinkie Pie. There is something about her random and silly personality and her voice that I can't help but smile at. The pony I can most relate to is Fluttershy and Twilight, though.

Before now it was Fluttershy. How brony I find that character looks like little part of me. Yup.

Offtop I loved Flutty before my OC from my ff. She's name Twink and she's zebra. My friends all time talking me "Zebras - unterponies". No one likes zebras...

Tbh, I'm torn between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy beacause they're the ones I identify with the most. Though I'm much, much better now, i used to be incredibly shy and reserved (like you know who). I still deal with some shyness sometimes, but it's just sometimes lol.

 

Then there's my competetive side I'm the type of guy to challenge and accept challenges with my friends. I get pretty energetic and hot-blooded in those moments. So yeah, I really can't decide between the two, so I'm voting for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash equally

My favorites of the Mane 6 are Dashie and Twilight, but honestly I like all of them. In fics I usually have AJ be 'second in command' to Twilight so you could say I like her a lot too.

 

Of the background ponies I like Lyra and Bon Bon because they're the closest we have to a canon ship, Derpy because she's Derpy.

 

I like Luna but I didn't include her in my vote because I mainly like her comic book portrayal and this is about the show. Hell, I kind of like everyone.

I did tick 'Other' as well because even though Sunset Shimmer isn't part of the show itself she's still one of my favorites.
