Ahh yes, I do recall my first encounter with bronys, many moons ago.... :comeatus: At first I felt he bullied me freshman year of high school, but the next year we were friends after we worked out our differences. One day in class he gave this personal essay presentation about how he used to be really shy, and how his "friend list was suffering from non-existance," as he put it. lol He compared himself to Fluttershy, and said when he first say the show, he decided he wanted to be more like pinkie pie (more friendly) and made him think about how important it is to have friends. And then I knew he was a brony, and thought, "gee thats kinda weird, haha, I'll never be like that!" the end.

I dont think it was ever hinted once. In that episode Dashie's Sonic Rainboom helped everypony get their cutie marks, not just RD. In fact, the idea of Pinkie getting paired with anyone seems a little off to me. :okiedokielokie: If any of the mane 6 were to get a boyfriend, I'd think Pinkie would be the last. Her personality just wouldn't seem to work in a relationship imo. Theyre just bpff's.

lol, I spy historical insight! Well, it seems to me changelings are nomadic, since they go around feeding on the love of different peoples/ponies, it would make sense. Kinda like locus eating fields of crops. theyre even bug-like.

That is very true, though i dont think they could really take away the day for just one nation;it would effect everyone. I'm thinking Equestria is really the most powerful state, at least regionally, and the other countries (Saddle Arabia, Maretonia, maybe Crystal Empire, etc) are either city states heavily influenced by their neighboring superpower (Equestria) or satallite states with some autonomy but which ultimately obey Celestia and Luna :comeatus: . Just look at Equestria Games. Each city in Equestria, (ie Ponyville, Cloudsdale, manehatten, etc) compete alongside Saddle Arabia and Maretonia, and possibly even the Griffin Kingdom, whos royalty/delegates are present right below Celestia and Luna. Just look at the thrones: The main 4 princesses are on top, followed by the delegates from other "nations", and then city leaders/vips. Its like a hierarchy. (I'd also like to point out bulk bicept's mom is in the bottom right corner. ^ Along with other notable characters in the audience.) Also, the Celestia SENT Cadance and Shining Armor to rule the Crystal Empire. That would be a big decision for the leader of ANOTHER COUNTRY to make for her own, so I'm thinking CE is part of or very close with Equestria. Its army didn't handle the Changeling situation too well, and other than that it hasnt been seen being put to the test. Then again I'm sure the military isnt its top priority, seeing as theyve invented the steam engine but are still using pikes/spears. Also, with all the talk about the US and Equestria, I think that since this is a TV show made in America, the creators thought it would be neat to have punny names of US cities and some landmarks, and thats where the similarities end. The US definitely isnt into the idea of a monarchy, even a two person monarchy...in fact we cant even work out differences between two parties! They always bicker, and there definitely isn't as much "Harmony" as in Equestria, which seems to be Celestia's focus as a leader. In fact US ideas of Freedom and Equestian ideals of Harmony would likely be at odds. But this is just my humble opinion everypony.

Ohmigosh that song was stuck in my head for the longest time... "We sing our song 'cross the Pony Nation, From Equestria and Beyond!" I guess that means there are apples outside of Equestria. I think the Griffins are probably their own kingdom, though its weird that they were at the Equestria Games...

I guess this kinda isn't important, but I've been wondering this ever since the episode where the Crystal Empire reappeared : is the Crystal Empire part of Celestia's kingdom, or is its own country. Come to think of it, are places like Saddle Arabia, and where ever the Griffins are from part of it too? Or are they like satalitte states, or providences, or completely independant nations? They all appeared at the Equestria Games but they competed alongside single cities that are for sure part of Equestria, like Ponyville and Cloudsdale. This makes me think that they're all part of Equestria. However, I'm thinking the Griffins and Saddle Arabia could be there own nations, since Celestia had to meet with ambassadors from SA, and the Griffens seem pretty far away from the rest of Equestria, but the line is blurred for the Crystal Empire. Celestia sent Cadance and Shining Armor to rule the Crysal Empire, which makes me think its a satalitte state or part of Equestria, but the title "Crystal Empire" implies its a soverign nation, or at least a city state. Plus Cadance and Shining Armor rule it; if it were part of Equestria it would all belong to Celestia. But I want to know what other people think.

*GASP* I almost Forgot!!! Dear Princess Celestia, Today, I learned that even though it's not fun to loose, it is important to always be kind, (like Fluttershy ), and that keeping good friends is always more important than some award or title. Also, I discovered that being a good sport is probably better than taking to the steets after a sporting event and looting local buisinesses around the stadium with other fans like its nopony's buisiness. I also learned that really, neither Fluttershy or Twilight won. Germany did. Auf Wiedersehen, Malex

If it were a choice between humans and ponies, us of course! Humans have had trouble with Harmony since the beginning of time. Chaos is at least partially in our genes. These ponies seem to have most everything worked out for themselves. But if he actually enjoys friendship more than chaos now, then he could choose ponies, but i doubt thats true...

I'd say it could go either way. They're both physically strong, and even though RD can fly, AJ could probably kick stuff at her or something, since I think it's fair to say shes a better bucker. Say AJ is under a grove of trees. RD can't see her. However, its a lot harder to remain unseen in the sky, albeit there are some clouds, but anything could fly right through them, so they don't really provide much protection. I will say RD may have a slight advantage, but I think AJ could at least hold her own.

Fluttershy is better shy. Its her thing, and it makes her kindness come out. plus, its pretty adorable.
