  1. I didn't know any of that info, so I'll just straight up answer the questions. Do you think Hasbro is planning anything, this early? - Not yet, I think the earliest they would plan to do anything (beyond hallway talk) is about 6 years before the milestone. What do you expect to see? - Depending on the success of the company and the running gen at the time, I think the least that could happen is a TV crossover special with all gens involved. Do you think you'll still be into pony in 2032? - I think I'll only be into pony during the rest of gen 4, but I've already become a fan of it which means I'll at least keep in the loop for news of official or fan related projects during my lifetime, same as I do with Saint Seiya or Chrono Trigger. Do you think Hasbro is starting their party planning ideas this soon? - Only if they have a Pinkie Pie on their team.
  2. Favorite: The Return of Harmony (full). Was hard to choose between that one and Canterlot Wedding, Sisterhooves Social and Hurricane Fluttershy. Least favorite: Baby Cakes, liked Pinkie a lot but the overpowered baby gag is too cliché for me.
  3. Ohh, so that's it. I just got into the show a few months ago and wasn't aware of the general hatred precisely because it's mostly ignored nowadays. It's nice to know about that kind of stuff, thanks!
  4. Definitely the optimistic vibe all around the show. Also the diversity of characters which makes each lesson relatable and how they use that diversity to hint subtlety not to be judgemental of different people (there are episodes focused directly at this issue, but it's hinted pretty much through all the show).
  5. Haven't watched new series in a while, but I recently re-watched One Piece's Skypeia arc. Not the best arc, but great still. I specially like the way they brought Robin's dream back, and how she started to care for the crew.
  6. Is he really that hated? I don't care that much about the character, but I find it to be as good as any tertiary character (right there with the principal and vice-principal). Maybe people don't like their "ponies" to be flirted on, but I actually am surprised that only him and Timber are actually acting as teenagers towards girls, being at a highschool setting and all.
  7. Hello, nice wondering! I'll rate them under two scenarios, first under day to day circumstances (which is what I think you're asking) and second at their worst judgment scenario. Normal (day to day): 1. Twilight 2. Rarity 3. Fluttershy 4. Applejack 5. Rainbow Dash 6. Pinkie Pie At their own worst judgment scenario (from bad decision making to worse decision making): 1. Applejack (Somepony to Watch Over Me): alright, no one is judging AJ for being overprotective, a lot of parents and big siblings go through that phase, but she's being regressive! She has seen Applebloom helping with chores under supervision for at least a year now, there's no reason at all to childproof all the farm! 2. Rarity (Honest Apple): First she decides to ask someone with no experience to be a fashion judge, ok she had her reason as weird as it was, but then she's seeing how AJ is starting to go over the top with her criticism; then even when they took a break, she didn't call AJ to tell her what was fine and what was wrong about her role as judge; and at the next day she still let it all scale without even a hint to AJ. 3. Twilight (Lesson Zero): yes, she was going through a really stressful issue which had never happened before, but making a friendship problem to help solving it later is childish to say the least. 4. Pinkie Pie (Swarm of the Century): she knows what parasprites are from the beginning yet she tells no one, then when she's trying to assemble her one mare orchestra (and actually asking her friends to help her find the instruments) she doesn't bother to tell them to just listen how she actually knows a way to get rid of the plague and keeps working alone. 5. Fluttershy (Swarm of the Century): parasprites are cute and she loves to care for little creatures, but she just saw what happens when there's only one of them and multiply, she's looking the problem to the eye, working with her team to get rid of them and what did she does? She still kept one. ¬.¬ 6. Rainbow Dash (Tanks for the Memories): nothing says bad judgment as much as sabotaging the entire weather factory to the point of explosion (good thing it was snow) for not wanting to accept reality. *I would've picked AJ from Where the Apple Lies between Twi and Pinkie, but it all happened as a teenager and they're being compared as adults.
  8. I liked Friendship Games because it showed how different the human characters can be from their pony counterparts. Scitwi is everything Twilight was at the beginning of FiM but on a different context. It also showed the growth of Sunset since Rainbow Rocks and gave us a set of new characters to explore the world beyond CHS. The songs are also pretty good, specially Unleash the Magic and ACADECA (it still cracks me up when I see the Mona Lisa cake).
  9. I'm a huge fan of Pokémon games and though I don't care for crossover fics at all, I like to imagine and even come up with Pokémon teams for the characters of MLP. So like'em it is.
  10. This one goes to the three big sisters, my personal order would be: 1. Rarity. 2. Rainbow Dash. 3. Applejack.
  11. I don't ship Fluttershy at all, but I have seen amazing pieces of Flutterdash fanart so my vote is for the KindnessXLoyalty ship.
  12. Twilight because I like to read about new subjects for the sake of knowing. Applejack because I don't compromise my integrity. Scootaloo (season 1 at least) because I like to sing and suck at it.
  13. In Crusaders of the Lost Mark, started building up on the last song and shedding tears on the memories montage, still my favorite moment of FiM. In Parental Glidance, just after Rainbow snaps out, Scootaloo's reaction made me shed a tear.
  14. The thing I like about shipping is to share your thoughts on fantasies with people who ship the same characters, there's a silly sense of accomplishment when you realize that you are not the only one shipping a pair. This is why I don't think shipping self is a good idea, because it would be really rare to find another person shipping the same pair (you with the character). That being said, as long as you keep in mind what's fiction and what's real, shipping self is as good as any other fantasy. And there's a thing we know about fantasy: "There's no wrong way to fantasize." - Princess Celestia.
  15. It seems that shipping is great for the inspiration of some artists, so I'm totally fine with it.
  16. I'll just go with my bias and say Rarity. I recognize though that Pinkie has amazing songs, but I also hated a few (the Zecora one and the Wonderbolts history rap).
  17. Maybe at graduation day from the Ponyville school.
  18. If they are directly confronted I would say Shining by a small edge. His combat training must be considered, and even if Starlight has a bigger amount of spells, she wouldn't be able to cast most of them under fighting pressure. If they are indirectly confronted (in a hunt down the other scenario) Starlight takes the win easily. She's way more resourceful and has proven to be a mastermind to achieve her goals.
  19. First of all, I don't need the show to fulfill my expectations but it would be nice to see the following subjects explored at some point. Twilight: To understand how the Tree of Harmony helps Equestria and if it was planted or found by equestrian settlers. Rainbow Dash: Officially becoming second in command, just so we can forsee her as captain of the WB, but without getting rid of Spitfire. Fluttershy: To stop being afraid of the Everfree Forest for good and being recognized by its creatures as a caretaker of their kin. Spike: To grow wings and then being able to come and go to the Dragonlands (by himself). Starlight: To find her place out of the friendship castle and being able to fully enjoy life as it comes. CMC: To grow into teens (designwise) and to be summoned by the map on a cutie mark/friendship mission. Zecora: Her reason to move out of her homeland and settle near Ponyville. Non character related: Episodes in Vanhoover, Fillydelphia and Trottingham.
  20. Winona is my favorite, a close second is Tank but the industrial blow dryer was too much fun to be matched. Philomena is my least favorite because she's a troll and not a funny one. Also her feather losing design is the ugliest.
  21. A lot of methamorphic insects feed a lot during their early stages to morph, then at the last stage their only purpose is mating, some of them even stop feeding at all to accomplish that. Of course, and this is exactly why I first said: I was just trying to overthink a bit with known real life information, it doesn't mean that I really believe they'll do it. On top of it, we're discussing about a child's fantasy show, of course they will use fantasy to keep away from the cruel side of real life nature!
  22. After metamorphosis, I would say he's an adult. Now, about changelings lifespan, I don't think it would be explored and we're supposed to believe they're similar to ponies lifespan. Giving them actual insect like lifespans would mean they would live very short after metamorphosis, usually with the sole purpose of mating and... Oh! That would explain why they have no hunger anymore! Ok... Now I have a messed up headcanon (poor Chrysalis, she just wanted her hive to keep on living).
  23. I just asume they're overflowing with magic. Or they may have casted a long-term spell on their manes to show royal presence, alongside their crowns and ornamental horseshoes. Since its only their hair moving (mane and tail) it shouldn't waste too much magic.
  24. And please, note that the answer is not "Everypony", it's deeper and more wonderful/disturbing than that. 👀
