    Hard to put into words how much it means to me. It came at a time I had nothing to look forward to and had made plans to exit the world. It gave me an escape from reality, and I just loved the characters and how I’d like to think about how I’d love to go there cause it’d be a lot better than here. Having the fandom around it makes it better cause so many other people feel the same and makes me feel less alone. Heck, I won’t even watch the last season. Seeing it end is too much for me, and I don’t mind the feeling there’s always something “new” in the show to me that I have yet to see. I wanna keep that feeling.

    It’s something I’ll always remember, that’s for sure. MLP, along with other personal things will be why I’ll always see 2011-2015 among the best years of my life. At least so far.

      According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a pegasus should be able to fly carrying another pegasus. Using both wings is counterproductive and should not be enough to compensate for their combined weight. The pegasi, of course, fly anyways; because pegasi don't care what other horses think is impossible. ...Also, more snuggly flight.

    I haven’t seen it, but from what little I’ve heard about it so far I really don’t think I will like it. Can’t know for sure till I see it. Maybe one day.

    Yes. It is. I’m not going to oversell it and say it’s a groundbreaking show plot wise or anything, but I absolutely love the characters, that’s what stands out about it to me. I have never enjoyed characters in a show as much as I did MLP, and I certainly have never liked a show so much I got involved in the fandom for it, until MLP. Not before then, and not since. Characters are extremely important to me in shows. Like MLP could have been terrible plot wise and I’d have still loved it cause I like the characters that much.

    Rainbow Dash haters sure love these threads lmao. Jokes aside, for me it’s Discord. He was a good villain, that’s it. Also I find Starlight to be a bit overrated.

    Went on another late night outing with Applejack tonight.  Got her some apples this time, and went to my workplace.  

    I think she enjoyed them.  She’s good at balancing an applestack on her back.  I’ll give her that.  :mlp_icwudt:

    Went on a late night car ride with AJ and then stopped by the railroad tracks to watch trains go by because who doesn’t like doing all that at 1am?

      @Samurai Equine It was an on the fly decision and the only place that sells apples in my town this late is Wal-Mart and it's not safe this late.    I’ll be more prepared and surprise her with apples next time.  :catface:

    Nope. Design is very important to me and I hate the design. No decent plot will save it for me if I don’t like the design of the characters especially since characters are the #1 reason I get into a show.

    So I’m glad the main show for G5 is still gonna be 3D, I guess, cause I’m not touching that 2D series.  Not even with a 1,000,000,000,000,000 mile pole.  Those designs just hurt my eyes, and not even a decent plot can save something for me if I hate the design of the characters.  :yeahno:

      I'm pretty much in the same boat. I don't want to judge it solely based on how it looks, but those designs... yeah. And the movement of the animation, too.

      ...So, do you think the CGI will be the same quality as the movie, or downgraded? Taking all bets. :Daydreaming: I fully expect a downgrade, but I hope it's not a huge downgrade.

    Nah I was 18 when I started watching it in 2011. I do often wonder what I’d have thought about it had it come out earlier when I was a child, though. I doubt I’d have gotten into it as much as I did.

    Chip ‘N Dale was my childhood. It’s amazing to see this. And while IMO there’s a lot left to be desired about this, it definitely makes me want to go watch it when it comes out.
