  1. I think I'd rather unsee that. Why do people have to notice these things? Then again, we wouldn't have Derpy if not for people like you...
  2. Well, first thing I'd do on the moon would be to move this thread over to Sugarcube Corner or Roleplaying. Then I could finally get on with my life's dream of pretending to be a tree.
  3. What I don't like: the not-so-subtle insertion of the franchise's name into show lines. "Come now, My Little Ponies!" Comes off as a bit cheesy, don't you think? What would make me quit: changing it for the worse (i.e. targeting bronies exclusively with the show).
  4. It was a beam composed of Shining Armor's love, remember? That made Chrysalis's power level OVER 9000! Also, why is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic being treated like Dragon Ball Z now?
  5. When I think about my friends in real life, I try to imagine which one of the Mane Six they'd be. Does this make me weird? I've got one of each of the six in my group of friends, actually, except for a Rainbow Dash.
  6. How can Lady Gaga be a a pony? Ponies don't hatch from eggs, as far as I'm aware. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  7. Crap, this screws up my fanfic! Also, Crystal Mountains? Is this where the Crystal Pony kingdom lies?
  8. My all time favorite "old" animated movies (before 2000) are: The Land Before Time, which I have fond memories of watching with my mom before I went to school. Balto, which I rented once, and watched twice, and even got a copy on Laserdisc to watch the definitive version. My all-time favorite hand-animated movie. The Iron Giant, touted as the best non-Disney traditionally animated movie of all time (although I believe that goes to Balto, this is a close second). The Lion King, the best film from the Disney Renaissance. After that, not sure. Been watching Dreamworks lately.
  9. I don't get them either. Why do they use jet packs when they're Pegasus ponies? Also, why doesn't Spitfire help in creating the tornado in Hurricane Fluttershy? "Oh no! We're exactly five wingpower short! That's about what Fluttershy is capable of! Spitfire could join in, and we'd be well over that, but we'd rather badger Fluttershy into helping!" So basically, they're Pegasus ponies who don't use their wings, and don't help out when they should.
  10. I would like a Cutie Mark Crusaders spinoff show, if only to eliminate CMC episodes from Friendship is Magic. (Sorry to all CMC fans here )
  11. I would say, "See? I told you I own a horse!" And then my father would disappear. Crisis averted. Also, wtf @ this limit.
  12. No order: -Dragon Ball Z -Pokemon (I only ever truly watched the first season. Black and White is turning out pretty good, however.) -Loony Tunes -Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles -Yu Yu Hakusho
  13. Didn't your parents tell you the story of the birds and the bees? No? Well, when two dragons love each other...
  14. I think Diamond Tiara has a valid excuse for being how she is: her father is Filthy Rich, and spoils her. At that young of an age, it's the parent's responsibility to correct their behavior. She's just a filly still, so she simply may not know any better yet. She could grow up and be best friends with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Trixie was annoying. If she's so "great and powerful", why not use her magic for better things? Some say she was mistreated, since it's just an act. However, her behavior offstage with Snips and Snails proved that she was every bit as nasty in real life as on stage. Gilda, on the other hand, made Fluttershy cry. There's no excuse.
  15. They've already got a turntable and speakers... among others I can't remember. I don't like it either, to be honest.
  16. I think Spike's affection towards Rarity is more of a childish crush than anything, like how 70's children saw Daisy Duke. He'll outgrow it, and see her as more of a close friend than a love interest. He is still considered a baby dragon. Also, I can't see Rarity being a cougar pony.
  17. In regards to the thread, isn't the criteria that renders Applejack less pony based on how many shipping fics are written about her kind of trifling to anyone else? Something that boils down to psychology is being treated as a popularity contest.
  18. First episode I'd let them watch would be Friendship is Magic, Part 1. Last episode I'd let them watch would be A Canterlot Wedding, Part 2. Then I'd hold them in my arms as they cried about there being no more episodes until Season 3.
  19. What's wrong with them aging? Ponies can live to be over a thousand years old in the series. Is it ever stated that only alicorns live to be as old as Luna and Celestia? That's also a possibility. There could be three winters in our own earth time, and seasons could appear in a different order than our own. I don't personally think much attention is given to seasons, however. In any given cartoon series, it always appears to be spring or summer unless the season is crucial to the plot. So it might not be possible to judge time based on seasons, even if they did occur in order.
  20. Hearth's Warming Eve could've taken place before Winter Wrap Up, during the same winter season. Again, there's no telling when an episode happens. The only surefire thing we can assume is, if Twilight isn't the one who writes to Celestia at the end, it happens after Lesson Zero. We don't know when Lesson Zero happens, however.
  21. I have an Android device that only has Wi-Fi, not 3G or 4G. There is a McDonald's next to my work that has free Wi-Fi. I've watched a good 3 or 4 episodes there during lunch. So, in other words, if I eat at McDonald's during work, I watch MLP!
  22. It's blatantly impossible. The episodes do not occur in chronological order. In Season 1, Episode 11, it's the end of winter. Two episodes later, it's now fall. Who knows whether some Season 2 episodes take place during the events of Season 1?
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWCNh6lvZ5w I can see this actually frightening some of the younger viewers.
  24. The Battle of Olympus for NES. Just got it in 2006 or 2007.
