  1. Oh boy, this is a hard one. I'd probably have to say all the songs from 'A Hearth's Warming Tail', I just enjoy listening to all of the songs in that episode
  2. You've read the title, you know what's going on. I've put up one for my ponysona, Reality Check, since I think it's about time I gave him one Reality Check: What he said. But yeah, feel free to ask me anything you want to and I'll respond the best I can. You can also ask creator me if you have a question about him as well.
  3. I'm not a fan of the toys or the merchandise, but I think I'd pick the old ones. The new ones look creepy, especially the eyes
  4. I'm hoping dragons, I'd be interested if there was a dragon assistant for one of the mane 5 like Spike in G4.
  5. I usually just have 1 cold drink every day, though it's not always soda. So I'd reckon at least 1 can every week
  6. Never mess with a lady, especially someone like Rarity... Huh, that rhymed. That aside... This episode, in my opinion, is a gold mine of karma. There were plenty of scenes that carried a ton of humor with them. I'd say the biggest instance was when Rarity 'plays' with the diamond dogs in order to get what she wants. Her ranting on about the difference between whining and complaining certainly stood out to me, but I can see how it can be annoying rather than funny, especially when they had to put up with it a lot. Sapphire Shores was a fun character as well, even though she only appeared in the opening scene and never appeared again until several seasons later. If I have to nitpick something, it's the diamond dogs. Now I don't hate them, it's just that their motives seems rather straightforward. All they do is find gems... and for what exactly? I kinda wish that there was more context about the diamond dogs other than to just serve the plot for the episode, they just exist and was never brought back up again. Also, I can't help notice that the plot between the mane 6 and Rarity look like they were separated into two halves, making it look like each change of scenery happened in mere seconds. Overall, this episode is definitely a good episode, filled to the brim with memorable, funny scenes that will always bring a smile to my face. I also like how they didn't make Rarity a princess in a castle just awaiting to be saved; she can get herself out of a situation without needing someone else to be her hero. I'd say it also gave the girl viewers some confidence. It's as they say, 'feminism marches on'.
  7. I never really hated MLP FiM, not even before I got into the fandom
  8. Course not, anyone can like a character more than another, whether it'd be a main or background character
  9. Reformed Thorax, definitely. I just want to hug him whenever I see him smile
  10. I'd say I'm Gen 3, I was born in 2005 but didn't watch G4 until years later
  11. Unpopular opinions huh? Hmmm, how about... I like Angel Bunny?
  12. Not really sure actually, god knows when I might change my interest to something else or lose interest in the fandom entirely Still, I'll definitely remember this place for a long while
  13. I don't think so, they are suppose to be the 'mane' characters in the show after all.
  14. It's an interesting possibility, but I think it's unlikely that Flurry Heart is responsible. Mostly cause I don't think she'd be that kind of princess if her relationship with Twilight and Cadence is anything to go by. Also, I have a feeling that there'd be at least one pony there to stop her, maybe some advisors or other royalties for that matter. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Flurry Heart had at least some kind of role in it, it is likely that she's young enough to be with the new generation, like you said.
  15. Eh, I'm kinda lax about the fact that I'm a fan. I'm not really on to talk about it unless someone brings it up
  16. Only if I can go back to the human (not EQG) world
  17. Ok, so... I have opinions on this. I like this episode for the foreshadowing. I think the best instance was when Applejack saw the CMC dancing, the speechlessness and her expression says everything we need to know. Another is the moral of showing a person's interest versus what they're truly good at, or 'Talent vs Interest' to put it shortly. Just because someone is good at something doesn't mean that they enjoy it all the time. In fact, I'd say a future episode addressed this moral a bit better, 'Marks and recreation' to be precise. What I don't like about the episode is how the other moral was presented. The CMC pointed out that trying too hard can lead to disastrous results. Unfortunately, I don't think it's presented very well. It's ok to make the best or go all out on something, but overdoing it can lead to some unwanted consequences. It's like making a doll, you can make it as realistic as you like, but overdo it and you'd just get the uncanny valley. I also noticed an animation error when watching the episode, when the CMC were supposedly climbing a mountain and reached the top. You can briefly see that their eye colors are the same. The episode isn't bad, nor is it good, but it does look like it could've been done better. Maybe the conflicting ideals trope could be done without the wanting to do-their-own-thing and the oddly specific awards added in. Also, I can't help but feel like there was a bit of toy marketing added in there.
  18. If I have to pick, I think it's Marble Pie, mostly cause she doesn't really talk. There's also Mudbriar, especially when he said 'technically' one too many times
  19. Definitely not, I have a thing where my interest would constantly jump from one franchise to another so I can't really expect what I would and wouldn't enjoy, let alone MLP. Plus I wasn't exactly interested in MLP as a kid
  20. Maybe it's because some people find her personality annoying at times like 'Filli Vanili', it is one of those episode where Pinkie is easily dislikable. Also if someone asks, no, I don't hate Pinkie, I find her enjoyable especially in ones where she shines the most.
  21. As much as I'd appreciate the invite if Starlight gave one, I'm pretty sure I'd just decline. Fancy parties ain't really my thing
  22. I can just imagine someone saying 'hugs for everyone!' as they passed the badge around Who knows? Maybe there is
