No, I wasn't a fan of it before Friendship Is Magic. I remember watching a G3 movie with my sisters when I was younger, even though I don't remember much of it. Back then, I thought that MLP was a standard girl's cartoon, and it was at that time.

That did happen, but if it was cancelled during the middle of season 4 or something like that I would be extremely upset.

It's probably a scam. There is no Adult MLP movie produced by Hasbro.

I think a few might be bronies in denial but the vast majority of haters probably hate bronies because they don't fit their preconceived notions of what an adult male or female should enjoy or not.

This is one of the best documentaries on bronies I have ever seen, even better than John DeLancies' documentary. I would show this to my family if they were curious about bronies.

I agree with what you're saying. It seems like a lot of bronies (including myself) became curious about it through a YouTube video or some form of social media. I think it's the 'weird factor' that draws people's attention, whether they think positively about it or not.

Yes. I like MLP YouTube Poops. I watched some before I even knew about bronies. I originally thought their purpose was to make fun of the show for being so 'bad'. Turned out, the people who made them were genuine in their love for the show.

Exactly. I liked some of the changes and there were some changes I didn't like, but I still tolerated them and didn't lose my hat. The same thing is happening with the G5 movie, some people are sceptical, and some are optimistic about it. Yet, before we jump to any conclusions, we need to watch it for ourselves. Then we can complain when things go wrong.

The 'hipster' bronies help contribute to the negative perception of bronies in our society. They make the fandom seem like a trend in outsiders eyes, which fuels the haters. I mean, if you are interested in bronies or becoming a brony yourself, at least watch a few episodes to see if it's something you're into. If you are not into the show, there's no reason to call yourself a brony.

That's why I don't take parent reviews on IMDb seriously. They usually over exaggerate about stuff like violence, drugs, and sex. This show really doesn't have much of that stuff, save for a few scenes (there are no drugs or sex in the show at all, except some references).

I've read some reviews about the show on Google reviews that are just plain dumb and in many cases are not actual criticises of the show itself. I'll write them below. They are presented as is. Review 1: No Offence, But THIS SHOW WAS AWFUL! I recommend you to not watch this as a kid, there are some adult jokes. Why It Sucks: Pinkie Pie's Voice is annoying in my opinion, it sounds like it's high pitched, she looks like she is gonna annoy people just for fun. I saw too many adult jokes that scared me. The fanbase is so cringy, and some of the Fanarts are inappropriate. The Animation is still cool though, some of the voices can be bad. It supposed to teach me about Friendship and Solving Problems. When I didn't get to make friends that much, I only have a few. I got sleepy from watching these episodes and that was it. There is a kissing scene from the Episode "A Canterlot Wedding" It was the worst adult joke ever! Season 1 is boring, I don't know why. I prefer shows that have fight scenes. Review 2: too much pink and purple add red blue yellow get boys in it Review 3: I got really really scared. It should be rated R! Review 4: ITS OVER! It depends on who it is. Most of my drawings are of dinosaurs and my close family know that I like dinosaurs anyway so I don't mind them looking at those. They also know that I like ponies so it wouldn't be a problem if they saw my pony drawings. However, if someone who didn't know that I like MLP beforehand looked at them, they probably would be confused so I wouldn't go out of my way to show them pony drawings.
