At midnight local time my roommate and I opened a bottle of champagne and made a lot of noise, scaring the heck out of the cats.    Don't worry...they're used to our hootin' and hollerin'.  And if WE didn't cause a commotion, the neighbors setting off firecrackers and stuff would've frightened the poor skitties anyway.  :3
