Wasn't there a thread like this last week?

"PrimaryGames.com"

And this.

This is where I probably played my first PC game. I was around 6. I didn't even know PCs had games.

Remembering my very first PC game would be impossible. I could sit here all day and never come up with it.

Among some of my favorites were Doom, the Myst series, the old Lucasarts games (TIE Fighter, X-Wing, Dark Forces, Loom, etc), Baldur's Gate, and some of the Tycoon games.

First thing I ever played were the Spyro games for the Playstation.

I don't know how I forgot about that! I remember really liking that game.

Oh- on a side note, Tara Strong did some voices in one of the versions of the game in '04.

Rainbow Rocks... at least how it could've looked... in a stranger, more interesting dimension

For those who are wondering, Twilight is chewing bubble gum.

Same here, really. I used to play "Fish Tycoon" on that site all the time. And did you ever play the game where you were a pig and you had to find the sheriff? It's on that site. XD

I also played many games on the old "Poptropia" websites. Flintstones games, the old Dinosaur that represented Kraft Mac & Cheese... I'm getting so much nostolgia. :V

Daytona USA.

Sega Rally 1995.

Reader Rabbit.

Play with The Teletubbies.

Ridge Racer.

Moto Racer.

Tomb Raider.

Harry Potter.

I have fond memories of Daytona, Still play it to this day. Sega Rally is another one of my favourites. And Play with the teletubbies was a PC game I used to like, there was once a glitch which made shadow paint!!!

I actually have this quite obscure one on the PC, something like a puzzle solver game with a bit of "edutainment" thrown in as well. My parents got it for me and I remember enjoying the heck out of it as a kid, even though when I look back at it now it seems relatively simplistic and boring :P

It was pretty much through this game that I fell in love with the 'detective' genre and got really into games like Prof. Layton and Broken Sword, both other great games of my childhood. :D

The favourite I used to play all the Time was Reader Rabbit, with that Monster, and the carousel, and the mouse and the counting games. I Wish they could make another.

I can't really recall all that well, but a few pop into mind.

Commander Keen

Starcraft

Pajama Sam (mostly at school)

Free Ski

The pinball game that came on Windows XP

Riven (spent most of the game changing discs and going around in circles, because the animations of going between the islands was so cool.)

I recall playing a game that I don't think I ever knew the name of, it was a puzzle-esque game. It was like... there were coloured locked doors and you had to get the corresponding key but sometimes that key was behind another locked coloured door ad you had to get that key and so on. It was a top-down view. It came on a PC we had and I loved it, being a puzzle lover.
I think it was like Chip's Challenge, but simpler. The walls had a similar style. If someone knows what I'm talking about, please tell me the name. I'd

Other than that, at Boys & Girls Club they had a 3D-looking bowling game (It was called Super Bowl or Super Bowling 3D or something.
And Zoo Tycoon. :3 I don't recall whether it was 1 or 2but I thinkit was 2 and I adored it.

This was probably the first PC game I remembered playing. ^^' I thought the music in it was pretty decent and I loved playing it. Other than that, I didn't play much aside from old flash games or Sonic games online.

Ask a kid, I played a LOT of videogames, but the one that resonated most with me, the one I feel most nostalgic and emotional for, is Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal!

Seriously, I'm so emotional about the Blackthorn City theme, and I can remember little bits and pieces of my playing- like defeating Whitney's Miltank with Quilava, the final turns that determined my battle with Lance, and the sad day my Pokemon file save suddenly disappeared..

How about you guys? What game really defined your childhood?

i'm interested in what games you played as kids!

my first game (and mmo) was clone wars adventures or cwa as far as i can remember.

what was yours? id be intrested in some of the older bronies video games!

*brohoof*

I have merged these your too similar topics together. I know that the new one was intended to be based around PC games, however the posts contained have organically shifted to gaming in general.

Thank you

I loved all those Humongous games! They were some of my first. Played the hell out of Spyfox and Putt Putt. They recently released a bunch of them on steam. Total nostalgia trip playing Spyfox again.

I was also (and still am) really into Pokemon when I was a kid.

Then there were the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Rollercoaster Tycoon, and Super Mario 64.

Well, at a young age, Spyro the Dragon was my go-to game, although my brother used to play Diablo II and Age of Empires I, so I have fond memories of them both aswell. At a later age, Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank were my loves. Buying the Remastered J&D series was one of the best decisions of my life :3

Oh, well, now that people are mentioning console games, I might as well...
Super Mario 64

Shining Force 2(got it without the box at about 4, only when I was about 9 did I find that it was a T-rated game xD
Sonic The Hedgehog 2
LoZ: Ocarina of Time
LoZ: Minish Cap
Pokemon Sapphire
Pokemon Puzzle League
Paper Mario
Mario Kart 64
Harvest Moon : FoMT and MFoMT
THE FIRST THREE MARIO PARTY GAMES (Though mostly #3 because that's the only one I ever owned xD)
And for some reason, I always enjoyed World Championship Soccer II despite not being a sports person at all
xD pretty much any game I played made my childhood. I look back to all of them with wonderful memories and still enjoy them now :3

...
Yeah, I'm a Nintendo fangirl. xD
I do have an Xbox 360 though x3 and still have my old Sega Genesis

Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, I remember playing that sooooo much, and also Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga. I played a lot of games, but those have to be the two biggest with Toon Town coming in at a very very close third.

Then in the 4th grade there was the one that replaced them all, World of Warcraft. 8 long years of playing that game, so many awesome memories. Although I get a bit bored of it nowadays, it'll always be my favorite game. Super hyped for the movie and I hope it doesn't end up like other failure movies.

Pokemon. Man, those were the days. These are still the days. xD

Pokemon Diamond was my first game ever, so that made a huge impact on my video game taste, but in the end it was PMD: Explorers of the Sky and all those of that series that won the race. They were just so fun, with so much re-playable value, and the heart-wrenching story lines... Ugh, excuse me, I'm gonna go play some Explorers.
