Least Favorite Insect (if any)?

You know those weird little swamp flies (gnats?) that bumble about the house and simply will not leave you alone? Yeah, hate those things. :glimmer:

Moths freak me out, too. And cockroaches. To hell with cockroaches.

I would say spiders, but spiders aren't insects--they're arachnids.

I. HATE. ANTS! :glimmer:

They go in the house like they own the place and then they steal all the f***ing food... It doesn't matter what I or my dad does, they keep finding ways in the house...

Opposite for me

I don't like any insects that much, but there are some that I dislike more than others.

 - ladybugs: at certain times in the year they get all in my house and annoyingly fly around the lights. I normally have to get a paper towel or tissue and flush them down the toilet.

 - mosquitoes: their bites are very annoying, but they also buzz around me when I'm doing things outside on a summer evening.

 - horse flies: any fly is irritating to me, but horse flies are much worse. They aggressively buzz around me (and sometimes try to bite me) in the summertime. What's worse is that they are huge and don't usually stop attacking until you get off of their territory.

 - bees: I have a fear of bees, not sure how bad it is though. Each time I see one or hear one I get all jumpy and do my best to avoid it. I also used to have nightmares of getting stung and chased by bees. Not sure why I have this fear, I've only been stung twice in my life, one was by a hornet and another was by a yellow jacket.

I don't like bugs. Period. But I really don't like moths. They're fuzzy, and bugs should never be fuzzy, ok? They swarm the porch light during the warmer months (well, pretty much all year round, now. Thank you global warming) which means that every time I come in the house at the night I have to face them. and they can't fly straight so they end up hitting me and OMG I can't stand it.

I am scared of ticks for less phobia reasons. They carry really bad diseases that can do stuff like make you not be able to eat red meat anymore. I know for a fact that those things are around here and I know they're more common than we want to think. Best to just stay inside unless it's below freezing outside.

Flies. Their physical appearance may not bother me (although their eyes are pretty creepy from up close), but the sound that they make is annoying when I'm in fairly loud public spaces but absolutely terrifying when I'm alone in my room in near-absolute silence. Far too many times, I've been asleep in my bed and then I've been woken up by a fly buzzing in my room and I've ran to the bathroom (the room opposite my bedroom), refusing to come out until my mum kills the fly (yes, really).

In case you haven't figured it out yet, I have a phobia of flies.

Even though I'm not as deathly afraid of spiders as I used to be....lets just say I'm still not a fan! :adorkable:

If I’m going to be forced to pick between Wasps, Yellow Jackets and Hornets

Id have to pick hornets just because after being stung by all three, I’ve never felt pain from a sting like being stung by a hornet.

I hate all three though. Between the wasps hanging out on my car at night and their yearly nest in the attic space above my bedroom. To the aggressive yellow jackets.

Even though I'm not as scared if them as I used to be I'd STILL have to say spiders!
