Okay guys and gals, what is you guys opinion on cigars. Now when I say cigar I mean a nice cigar not some gas station thing. I mean something hand rolled with 100% natural tabaco. Do you love them hate them, never tried them, what is your favorite? I would love to here about all that!

As for me, I really love a nice cigar!

I've been 18 for awhile now and still haven't smoked (even the cheap stuff). However, I fully intend to give those bad boys a try sometime. You think I'm cool now, just wait . . . just you wait B)

Smoking is bad kids ;)

Well if you decide to give it a shot make sure you go with something mild to start with. I would recommend anything with a Connecticut wrapper. That is nice and mild but still gives off a nice flavor.

Seriously, I never smoked even cigarettes. My husband smokes cigars sometimes, but never in the house. He knows I don't like the smell.

But sometimes it is the most amazing flavor and aroma experience one could have.

Also just want to point out I hate cigarettes, those things are nasty.

Don't get me wrong. I didn't get all forceful and say "Not in MY house!" He just knows I don't like them, so he doesn't smoke in the house. He's talked about making a smoking room with a "Smoke Eater" to filter the air, but he never did anything about it.

Oh sorry, I was not trying to sound mean, I hope I did not. you see I only smoke in my local cigar lounge, and in all honesty I might like the company of just hanging out their more then I like the cigars anyway.

No, it's okay. I just didn't want people to think I was a nasty nag about it.

As some one that has traveled Way to much and smoke Wayyyyyyy to much Ive tride a lot of cigars 5-50 dollar range ive found there are 2 that i really enjoy, one is one from a small no name company called Vanilla (yeah good luck fiding them) normally a wait list 2 years to get them nowdays with a 2- cigar limit per person at most major shops very hard to get, run about 15 bucks per for a mini. The others I enjoy are the Backoods Aromatics (4 bucks for a 5 pack at most gas stations   very tasty, smell even better).

They smell a heck of a lot better than cigarettes, that's for sure, but, I don't smoke, so I can't tell you any more than that.

(Of course, maybe my experiences are a little biased since I live in Canada and Cuban cigars are legal here.)

Smoking...

Cigars are a lot less of a health risk than cigarettes, but still should be enjoyed in moderation,

Really? I thought it was like smoking several cigarettes at once.

Never had one, probably never will. I certainly don't hate them, but, as with regular cigarettes, I don't feel like I have much need to try one, or like it'd be worth it for me, honestly.

Between school and university, I worked for a few months as a barman at a local sports venue, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, which happens to be one of the top cricket venues in the country, and indeed the world. It was an interesting and varied job. There were several bars there with quite different characteristics, from outdoor stands serving folk their beer in plastic skiffs, to the members' bar serving sophisticated retired gents, well, beer in plastic skiffs. (On match days we didn't allow glasses to be taken out to the terrace.) The bars were also hired out for functions such as weddings, parties, and conventions.

There was one particular convention that I was on the bar for; it was an organization, and this was a long time ago, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details, that represented independent tobacco retailers. So this was basically a dinner for, I don't know, maybe a hundred middle-aged men (and they were almost invariably middle-aged men) who ran small, independent tobacconists up and down the country. What do such people do when they are relaxing after dinner? Well, unsurprisingly, they smoke — mostly cigars and pipes.

I still rate it as amongst the most horribly disgusting experiences of my life. And I have children, so that's saying a lot!

So in answer to your question, no, I don't smoke.

I smoked Backwoods for a few years and I loved them, but I quit cold turkey about 2 years ago. My brother and sister were coming up through high school and I didn't want them to see me smoking and think it was okay, plus I always felt a bit guilty since smoking killed my grandpa. So no more, although occasionally I do really still want one, but any cigar money I may have had now goes to comics

I'm not here to tell people what to do with their lives - if you want to smoke, then go ahead, but it would be nice if people were a bit more respectful about where they do it. I have had a history of breathing problems (even had asthma at one point) and the smoke not only smells gross to me, but it makes it difficult for me to breathe and it can trigger an asthma attack.

Obviously there's no way I'm going to smoke myself with those kinds of conditions.

They make Fat Italian Pimps look good, but certainly not me. :P

I've already been convinced to the brim not to smoke, even by my parents whom smoke cigarettes multiple times a day.

gonna take you out

Their not exactly setting a good example, but as long as people don't do it around me, i won't complain.
