Favorite Species of Pony and Why?

I've always wanted to fly and have wings, so I'd be a pegasus for sure.

 

Also, Cloudsdale is so AWESOME and I'd love to live there!

 

Unicorns and Earth ponies are awesome of course, but I'd much rather prefer to be a pegasus

I was very much in doubt wwther my ponysona should be an earth pony or a pegasus, as I am used to hard work and earth pony would fit me very well as I often wish to be more than I am - to be better than I am. But because My Little Pony always lets me forget my worries and problems I see no reason to not be the pony of my dreams. To fly free like the birds. I say Pegasus as i'd never fit a earth pony, i'm not very good at being hard at being hard work!

I feel kinda bad for earth ponies to be honest. They're just so... boring. :S

I'd prefer to be a unicorn. Imagine having magic!

My second choice would be a pegasus, but then I'm kind of afraid of heights (like fluttershy!), so I'd be a terrible pegasus.

As much as I'd like the magic aspect of the unicorns, it is limited a great deal in the way you are really only skilled in it's use with your special talent. Twilight is a freak. Even with her magic control, the appeal of complete freedom that wings offer is too tempting. You also have weather manipulation. Pretty nifty.

The show doesn't really go into the whole food growning business though, especially when the majority of food appears to come from AJ's family. I see no reason why the others can't do that. Even so, the ability to grow food isn't exactly 'cool'. Necessary perhaps, but not something I would really want to do if given the choice between the lot.

I'd be a unicorn, because with magic everything is more simple. :I I can't imagine having no fingers and no magic at the same time, haha. The horn's also a good weapon if you ask me.

Pegasus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 of my favorites are pegasi: Fluttershy, Derpy Hooves, And RD. 2nd of all, The pegasi control the weather, flying is AT LEAST 20% COOLER THAN WALKING, And imagine living, walking, and sleeping on clouds!!!!!!!! Plus, weather is very intriguing to me.

I pick Pegasus because wings. I love flying. I'm also always keeping up with the weather. Storm watching/chasing is a big hobby of mine.

I'll go with Unicorn cause of the cool magic, levitation/telekinesis, and such, but Pegasi are pretty dang cool as well. Could certainly imagine a pony having fun just leaning back off a cloud, dive bombing towards the ground, then pulling up at the last second. Earth ponies are pretty cool as well since they are hardy as heck, strong, durable, and have a decent relationship with animals.

 

Me personally, most of the OCs I make are unfortunately Unicorns due to my personal taste towards their ability to use magic. It would be good to see a pegasus pony that can't really fly like Scootaloo, but has an aptitude with Alchemy/Chemistry like Zecora.

 

 

One thing that still interests me is what RD said at the end of Episode 3 where she would take "everypony on a cloud ride," making me wonder about clouds in general in Equestria. Wonder if she would have said that even if Twilight and Rarity weren't there. In S1 "Sonic Rainboom" episode, RD does say she thought only Pegasus ponies could walk on clouds. Perhaps there's different types that some ponies can physically interact with while Pegasi can walk, push, and control all types.

Unicorns, because, as anyone who has strange slang can tell you, magic is "boss". So for that reason I find the magical smart ponies to be the coolest. But to be honest, I like all of them a lot.

I'd like to be a Unicorn, to have the ability to use magic. I'd also love to be a Pegasus for the ability to fly. Obvious reasons are obvious but either or would definitely come in handy for so many things. Although if I had a gun to my head and I was forced to just pick one of them - it would be a Unicorn.

I'd say unicorn! ^^ Pegasi are cool too but I tend to prefer magic/spells over the ability of flight.  And apparently, it is possible for a unicorn to temporarily cast a flight spell of some kind! Yeah... Earth ponies are my least favorite but they can be cool too. xD

I vote to be a Pegasus. I've always wanted to be 20% cooler with wings to fly. Plus, you get to have a house in the clouds that is like a  dream come true. To top it all off, you get to tryout for the Wonderbolts.

If I haaaad to be a pony, I'd be a Pegasus, because I have always wanted to fly. But I would be a draoniquus like Discord. I think being a mix of so many different animals would be awesome. Hmm, if i really had to choose between horns and wings (Sorry earthies!) I'd probably choose the wings. I always wanted to fly, and dreaming that you're flying has been one of the best experiences i've had so far, but magic.... oh i want magic so bad to...
