Who's your favorite S5 town citizen?

Who is your favorite of the four ponies who helped the Mane 6? I'm not including Starlight Glimmer! I'd like to know what you think of the ones who aren't villains.

I checked the first page of episode discussion and couldn't find a topic like this, so if there already is one, a mod may close this.

 

Party Favor: Blue stallion

Night Glider: Dark blue pegasus mare

Sugar Belle: Pink and purple mare

Double Diamond: White stallion

Double Diamond is my favourite. I liked many things about him, from how his talent is skiing to his design. I also liked how he is helpful to the Mane 6, although that could apply to all of the other Season 5 town citizens.

 

Then again I like all four of them. It's always a nice breath of fresh air to see regular ponies that are not the Mane 6 saving the day.

I liked Sugar Belle's voice, personality and appearance.

 

Double Diamond was an original character too.

Night Glider was awesome! Her color scheme was great and her voice suited her perfectly! She was awesome and adorable. ^^

Night Glider Is my favorite.

 

Double Diamond is very unique though. His name is an obvious reference to a double black diamond ski slope and the fact that he is white on top of that makes him a rather well thought out character.

Night Glider because pegasus master race. She also has a similar eye colour to Fluttershy.

 

Her mane reminds me of Spitfire's and Fleetfoot though.

It's hard for me to choose a favorite, but I'd say Party Favor is my favorite stallion (I can't get his derpy faces out of my head from when he was telling Starlight Glimmer he no longer wanted his cutie mark back) and Sugar Belle is my favorite mare because she is super cute and I like her hair. Though, Night Glider has the coolest name of just about any MLP character ever.

Wow, that's hard. They were ALL interesting characters. Not a dud in the bunch. In fact they were one of the episode's many strengths.

 

Personality-wise, I would have to say Sugar Belle. She was so earnest and worried for the Mane 6 from the very beginning, and obviously was never completely taken in by Starlight's "utopia".

 

Design-wise, I have to go with Night Glider. Her look is freaking awesome, whereas Sugar actually looked less cute after she got her mark back. Still cute, but not like Night.

 

But the writers and animators put some love into all four of these background ponies, and I have no doubt the fandom will too.

Tough call. I love night gliders design, but I also love Sugar Belles character.

 

I'll go with Night Glider, because design does hold a lot of sway with me for "background" or less established ponies.

I found Party Favor to be my best because I love Pinkie Pie and when I saw his gravity defying balloon bridge I was in awe. Plus while he was in the village and his eyes went wonkers I was rolling on the ground laughing.
