Do you pour the milk or the cereal first?

Because when you do milk first, you have to push the cereal down into the milk with your (hopefully) spoon.  And it's just awkward, and you feel silly.

Cereal first, then milk. I can't imagine why you would do it the other way unless you intent to make a mess when the milk splashes everywhere from having cereal dropped in it.

I alternate in increments of cereal and milk until a satisfactory balance of 12 units milk to 1 unit cereal by mass has been achieved. Any deviation greater than 0.5% is unacceptable.

This has gotten so much more popular that in needed to be

 

I, personally put the cereal in before milk because I'm normal, or as normal as I could get.  

 

It just seems weird to do it the other way...
