Rarity. She is very particular and would be best pony for rider safety.

Rainbow Dash too fast. Would fall to my doom.

Applejack too rough. Would fall to my doom.

Fluttershy...I'd be worried I'd break her back and cause her doom.

Pinkie Pie too bouncy. Would fall to my doom.

Twilight Sparkle runs into magic problems too much. Would fall to my doom.

Plus she already has saddle dress accessories. Rarity wins again.

Any pegasus or alicorn would make the ride uncomfortable because of their wings, so the are off the table. Rarity is too fabulous to ride, and she wouldn't want the saddle to chafe her. Applejack would be the very capable, but she would probably be too rough. Pinkie would be too fast. Shining Armor would probably throw me in hopes to save a kingdom. However, if I rode Vinyl Scratch, I would be able to listen to her music as I rode, and she would definitely step on the beat, as shown is the EQG short that I believe was called music Music To My Ears, or something like that. Not to mention unicorns have a built in handle to keep steady with. :P

If I get strapped onto them, I would pick a pegasus so I won't fall off. My first choice would be Dashie then Spitfire and then Cloudchaser.

Honey Wings, my love, my life, together forever.

Seems like Rarity is stealing the spotlights again :pout:.

I would choose for Big Mac. He may be bigger than the rest, but he's more easygoing and could be fitting for beginners and non-riders.

And maybe Applejack afterwards :smug:.

probably twilight, although as short as the ponies are you probably would not be able to ride them, they are like miniature horse height

Soarin, so I can hear him do an Ed imitation while I ride him.

Aww nuts, you needed to have the poll be check boxes so I could pick all of them.  But given my experiences with riding real horses, I imagine that Rarity would give the smoothest ride.  I imagine that her trot and lope would be so smooth that her back stays on nearly a perfect level line.  I also imagine that she'd be incredibly light, sensitive, and responsive.  Applejack, on the other hoof, would probably take a massive kick to get her to move, and she'd be so rough that it would rattle your brains.  In my real life riding, I have this gimmick where I refer to horses using the car types from Stunt Race FX on SNES.  There was the monster truck - poor handling, poor acceleration, low top speed, tough as hell, great for beginners.  The coupe - middle of the road.  The F-type - hyper-responsive, high acceleration and top speed, delicate, requires a skilled driver with good reflexes and control.  I hate riding the horses that are like monster trucks.  Very unpleasant.  It's rare to find a good F-type.  There's a couple of F-types at my stables.  AJ would be a monster truck, Fluttershy and Twilight would be coupes, and Rarity would be an F-type.  Rainbow would just take one look at you and go, "Nope", and just sonic rainboom outta there, leaving you flat on your ass, and Pinkie....well....Pinkie would be very unpredictable.  I imagine riding her would be like....imagine if you could cram all of Nitro Circus into single horse, and then give it the ability to defy physics.
