What would your favorite pony have to do to lose favor in your eyes?

So what would your favorite pony have to do lose that position, and make them only your second favorite character or worse?

 

My favorite pony is Applejack. She would stop being my favorite pony if she lost her mind and killed her family.

Or if we're aiming for something more plausible to actually happen, I might like her somewhat less if she was revealed to be scornful or disapproving of Big Mac's closet fantasies of being a hero, or maybe she wasn't understanding of what he did in Brotherhooves Social.

I dunno.. I like Twilight the way I do because I identify with her personality and interests a lot. She would have to undergo a complete personality change for me to dislike her or start liking the other characters over her.

My favorite pony is Pinkie Pie! I love her bubbly personality, and how she's always trying to make other ponies happy. She'd need to stop trying to cheer up other ponies or become less social

Nopony is perfect but a far-fetched idea to make me lose my favor specifically would be if Princess Twilight became blinded by her status and loses her humbleness and eagerness to help others and her friends. In a position like her is very easy to overlook and stress over the most simplest things because she has quite a large role and duty as a advocate of peace for all of Equestria. Anything to make her a complete nightmare of herself for obvious reasons dictate that she had lost herself in what she believed in and what she learned upon all of those long gone days and that can be a very devastating result. Not just for me but for her entire characterization in the show as well.

I know RD is supposed to be a narcissist, but if that became her 'big thing' and she just stopped caring for anyone but herself then, yeah, she would not be my favourite pony.

Well, let me put it this way. My favorites are Limestone, Celestia & Maud. So yeah, maybe I have soft spot for tough girls, but I can understand a bit of a give in a tough demeanor. Each of the main characters have had their mental breakdowns, so I'm not about to leave somepony when the chips are down & their mood isn't up to being as much as a bluster as usual. But there's a limit.

You lose respect for yourself to that extent, you lose mine. And considering how Loyalty is my biggest trait...well, that's putting it to a depressing degree.

 

On a happier note! If Fluttershy started up with some bunk like "Flies are an important part of our ecosystem." No, there's only so much hippie I can take. And I LIKE hippies! You protect them little decaymongerers an' I'm swattin' you with the rest of the pests!
