Toilet paper: over or under?

Somehow I hit submit on the poll without voting  I tried to select "over", since under just sounds like an extra step. If you are filling a receipt machine or a paper towel holder, then you have to do it under because it won't work otherwise.

Initially, I never really cared about whether the toilet paper roll was positioned "over" or "under".  However, I used to work as a janitor, and when I had that job, I was told that the toilet paper should be in the "over" position when replacing empty rolls in dispensers.  I have been placing it in the "over" position ever since due to force of habit.

Neither, my paper holder is on the opposite wall facing towards me, so it's either left or right   

Though more seriously, I couldn't care less, but always put it under subconsciously; I have absolutely no idea why.
