Hippogriffs, changelings, dragons, oh my! At first I thought this was another leak, but learning it's a promo instead makes it okay.

Course, you know this means the movie is canon and not a seperate entity, which means... Tempest Shadow cameo anyone? She doesn't even have to say anything, just show up.

Certainly possible as Grand Pear has made appearances in the background. I almost expect her to be in some group shot at some point this season.

Well, I'm planning to re-watch all the episodes involving non ponies in prep of this season. All the Dragons, Changelings, Griffons, Yaks, and even the movie introducing the hippogriffs!

I don't think it is stupid at all. Who says they are doing this full time? Besides I would say teaching the values of friendship to the entire world is more important than Pinkies local cake shop or Raritys dresses.

Still possible. As I mentioned before, family + career + hobbies + volunteerism + full and part time student ... I did it for the last 20 years. All of that ... without pause.

 That's an interesting question, actually. I can see Fluttershy, Twilight and Starlight finding time for this, but how does this fit into Applejack's, Rainbow Dash's, Pinkie Pie's and Rarity's schedules? It is kinda weird.

 Then again, as Jeric has pointed out above, it's not like it's impossible for them to balance teaching with their own daily lives.

Rarity may own them, but Canterlot is mostly run by Sassy Saddles, and Coco mostly runs over the Manehattan one. Granny Smith can also run the farm, same with Big Mac. As for RD, she became a Wonderbolt in early season 6 and she is rarely on missions and stuff.

Consider me officially HYPED now! I am absolutely loving the diversity of the main group of students, and I am curious as to what dynamics will play out here. Admittedly, kinda bummed we don't see any buffalos here (not to mention DEER DAMMIT), but who knows? Maybe more will develop as the season rolls on.

Also traveled weekly as a Ford Motor Company Zone Manager, and none of them are married and have kids. Again, if I can do it ... so can they. Like Rarity, I own my own business now ... soooooo ...

I'm think we'll probably get something similar to the Legends of Magic series that the comics have been producing. Considering the relative high quality of that series up to this point, I can see it being a possibility.
