Are we just not going to wonder why the Tree of Harmony took the form of Twilight?

Oh...………….. Okay, then.

Why not? of all the Elements, hers is the one central to (and most representative of) the Tree; I am not surprised that the Tree saw her as most suitable as an avatar when communicating with the Young Six.

Probably thought that the students would perceive that form as familiar and nonthreatening, given that Twilight is their principal and all.

Don’t give me wrong this Episode was awesome one thing I didn’t like is cozy glow because she literally used her playful worded racism to make the student six feels awful

  • Changelings can’t outrun there past
  • griffins hate company
  • dragons can’t stand cute things
  • Sandbar unwillingly sacrificed his time to help his friends
  • Tried to make everyone think that yaks are better than anyone
  • hippogriff/seapony has severe trust issues Due to the storm King

In case you forgot, whether they saw her or not, they couldn't help her or they'd be dragged in, too!

Well, the finale but yeah.

This episode gave us plenty of foreshadowing though; Crazy Glow's mask slipped more than just a little, and while it might have been hard for the Young Six to be believed if they HAD gone and reported all this to a less-sparkly Twilight, the staff might have been a bit less gullable during the finale...

You better not be who I think you are. @Loyal Defender points out a fact that you're overlooking. Anyone who gets too close risks getting pulled in too

Plus your post talks about what happened in School Raze, not this episode.

From where? unicorn magic wasn't working, and anything that got close to that bubble would be dragged in, too

NO! No one can touch the damn bubble because anyone could be dragged in!

You are referring to the wrong episode, mister! That is in School Raze. This is "What Lies Beneath". If you want to complain about this, at least complain in the correct episode discussion page.

You are correct, my Loyal, defending friend.

@ILoveSandbar As for you,

The final episode flat out shows why getting help is becoming increasingly difficult to almost forever impossible as the episide goes on.

Spoiler

With everyone losing their magic, and a magic draining bubble keeping one of the most powerful unicorns trapped, it's nearly pointless at the point in the episode for the million other ponies to get help. Since Cozy Glow has manipulated everyone, no one can really think straight in such a moment of crisis especially with time running out

Your lack of seeing the obvious counter-evidence to your complaint baffles me.

Twilight Sparkle is schemy for the Young Six in this episode when something is weird underneath that looks like the roots from the Tree of Harmony. That's weird, man.  They would have to pass the test and finally regroup altogether to come out of that cave.

At the ending part, Twilight Sparkle apologizes what she had done to trap them beneath the School of Friendship. Everything goes well once again! :)

Except Twilight Sparklier is an avatar of the tree, not the headmare - as discussed at the end :)

Twilight gives the lecture that describes The Tree as "almost" sentient, then Gallus makes the BIG mistake of taunting The Tree; given we know The Tree controls Twi's map table, it isn't unreasonable its roots pass under the school too :)

I liked this episode! It's probably my favorite student six story so far. The presence of magic in the story made the story a whole lot more entertaining than the usual school story, I guess.:ticking:
